The room was decent, only issue was the sliding door to the bathroom, I understand in NYC the rooms are small and given the events that happen in the city the price is not a concern. However it just would have been nice to have a normal bathroom door to have some extra provacy considering the bathroom is right next to the bed. The elevator situation was not ideal, I saw the signs near the elevators and we did leave early enough so we wouldn’t run late, however waiting for an elevator for 20 minutes is a little over the top. Overall the location of the property was amazing where we didn’t have to walk too far to get to time square or broadway, so the price I paid was not an issue since I wanted a hotel closer to everything.

We had 2 rooms for a long weekend. One had a view of the water and one view of the city. Rooms were clean and pleasant. There were just 2 elevators which meant giving yourself extra time was important to planning. Staff was great! Karolin checked us in efficiently and made us feel welcome. The bus authority was a block away and very convenient. I would definitely return. It was a great value and met all of our needs.

Excellent room for the price and the area. Front desk guys were very very nice, they had our room ready early and check in was fast. Room was spacious for NYC, noise cancellation is good for a hotel.

Clean rooms. Great location. Easy access to time square and Hell’s Kitchen. Great staff. They let us do early check in and late check out. Now the cons. Rooms are small. Lobby is small. Need to pay extra to enter their lunch room. Worst is the front entryway area. There are nice benches that they allow for the public. This of course becomes a hot loitering spot for homeless and ghetto kids. They need to gate that area for hotel guest only. This would make a huge difference. This is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Worst hotel & location in NYC
I truly had the worst time staying here. The hotel rooms are tiny, but that’s expected for NYC. The real problem is that we had got our room cleaned after the first night and the cleaning person spilled coke on my white sweater that cost $100, and I’m sure it was an accident but they told me nothing about it. Didn’t leave a note, didn’t tell me anything and it also left the chair by the table top sticky. So I’m not sure why I even got the room cleaned if it ended up dirty. The walls are very thin at this hotel and there truly couldn’t be a worse location for this hotel. The location is far too busy, always always smells bad like smoke and B.O and sewage. There are men outside smoking on the seats in front of the hotel and staring at passerby’s, I got cat called more times than I could even count, there is a lot of homelessness in this area, im from LA where we also experience homelessness but this was on another level. In truth, I definitely deserve some sort of refund because this place is NOT what it claims to be. $2200 is what I paid for SEVEN days and realistically, this place should cost around $1000 for 7 days or even less because it was truly one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel, ever. This hotel made me realize NY is not for me and I for sure will not be visiting again.

While the location was very convenient, about ten minutes walk to Time Square although there were many looks homeless people loitering outside the building but generally felt safe with constant security guard onsite.
