The bunks have privacy curtains and metal walls around them which was nice for relative peace and quiet. There are lockers available to store personal items and luggage (just make sure you bring your own lock). You can tell they really thought about how they can convenience their customers. The location is also super nice. A 30 minute walk to Grand Central Terminal and about half that to Times Square. Not to mention it's right below Central Park. Will be choosing this location again for future visits.

Great hostel, amazing location, good common areas, nice bathrooms, good level of privacy in beds due to enclosures. Will definitely look to stay here again when in NYC! Some minor negative points - it was quite expensive for the nights I stayed but maybe just New York prices. Rooms don't have loads of space so have to keep belongings in a locker but pretty standard for a hostel. It would be better if there was a dedicated baggage room rather than in the stairway, and also no general bathrooms to shower after checking out of the room.

It was a nice, safe place to stay for my 1 night in NYC. It was very close to both Central Park & Theatre District in which I was in town for. I met new friends from Italy (2) & Korea whom I shared a room with in the female only floor. However, the top bunk is not for everyone. I'm short and have a bad ankle. I had a hard time getting up and down on the very small "ladder". It definitely needs grab bars and lower to the ground steps. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
