If you are looking for closeness to the airport, this is perfect: 10-minute walk through an underground tunnel, or a 3-minute ride on the on-demand shuttle. The rooms, however, are horrible outdated. One of us was literally gagging from the smell of mildew.

Wishing for a longer stay
We stayed here only one night but wish it would have been longer. The hotel is so easy to get to from the airport (we just walked). The breakfast was amazing and the pool was lovely. We didn't get to use many amenities because it was just an overnight, but we would definitely stay here again when transiting through Bangkok.

Overall my experience was good and bad. The first room I got was not cleaned properly and I could see oil stains on the back of the entry door from what appeared to be from a little kid. I couldn't tell at first, but after sitting on the bed, I could smell urine and noticed a stain on the desk chair and multiple stains on the carpet. I couldn't stand the smell so I called to have my room changed. They changed my room and the second room was totally fine in smell and cleanliness, however the water completely shut off when I was at the end of my shower. I had to finish my shower with the bottle water in the room. I also couldn't figure out the internet until the very end, and that I needed to change settings on my phone web browser (allow certificates) so my phone could sign on the wifi. The hotel in general has a great building with large lobby and very good buffet. The guestroom hallways are dated though and the carpets need to be replaced and there were deficiencies on the walls (damage, stains, etc.). This hotel was the most convenient place to stay to get to the airport (it connects at the basement level to the airport) and the free shuttle straight to the check-in area was great. Overall for hotel experience I'd think twice about staying here. The water shutting off was a first for me for any hotel and I've usually never had a bad experience at a Hyatt hotel. I think Hyatt bought the hotel from Novotel in the last year though, so maybe they are still fixing things.

Convenient hotel at Bangkok airport
Nice stopover stay between two long flights. Very easy to access through "tunnel" from basement of the terminal (about 10 min walk). Silent room good for sleeping & relaxing. Too short stay to tell enything about the restaurant and room service.

It was the worst Hyatt I’ve ever been. The smell of the rooms were terrible and carpets were very dirty. We had to stay here for a night due to our flight but would never stay in this hotel ever again. There’s nothing good to offer except for its location.

Poor maintenance inside the room. Shower not draining, water standing and leaking inside the room. No hot water for long time, had to call to the front desk to resolve the issue, and eventually hot water issue was resolved one hour later, which was too long to wait for us as we had an early flight.

With no exaggeration whatsoever, this is the best hotel I’ve ever been lucky enough to stay in. I consider myself a moderate traveler, and out of all the hotel experiences I’ve had across 10 countries, this is the best. The customer service is 10/10, the rooms were immaculate, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would listen.

It’s a 5min walk underground and you’re in the Airport - so location is amazing if you want to avoid traffic or sleep a little longer before your flight. But that’s the only positive really But hotel needs a massive overhaul! It feels like it was Fitout in 1985 and hasn’t been ungraded since

Very conveniently located next to the airport with free shuttle service. We chose this hotel for our early flight. The check in was very fast and smooth. The room was very spacious We enjoyed the jetted bath tub. I would recommend staying here.
