The location, in the heart of Tromso is perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit worn down and the beds were very soft. Personally I did not like that the rooms are not automatically cleaned and the towels changed every few days. I do not want to think about this on my holiday and ask for service. We liked that breakfast and dinner were included in the price. Dinner is a small buffet, no gourmet food but fine and saves a lot of money.

Stay was great! Arrived too early to check in, but hotel gave us the option to leave our luggage in a secure location if we wanted to explore area around hotel while waiting for room- which is what we did. Check in was easy, room was clean and beds were comfortable. The front desk and information desk were always helpful & friendly during stay. The breakfast was amazing! Plus afternoon cake ANd dinner (which were only had once during stay) were good as well. Didn’t make use of sauna or gym, but the gym was on top floor, overlooking the water, so it would be a nice place to use. All in all, great stay!

A good hotel in a great location. Great breakfast. Everywhere in Tromsø was walkable from the hotel. The staff were friendly and able to give advice. The room was comfortable. The only thing letting it down snot was the public areas need refurbishing. Otherwise a good hotel and recommended to stay.

We had a great stay at Clarion Aurora. We only knocked off one star. Staff front desk was not aware if local calls would be charged to the room. I was asked to ask the next attendant on the next shift. I would think this would be a question staff should know, and if they dont know, I would think they would find out, not ask me to ask the next person.

Pros: buffet breakfast, buffet dinner, tea/coffee and cake every day. Tea/coffee/water available anytime on the ground floor. Good location. Cons: no kettle in the room, no safe, rooms only cleaned on request, need to take out own rubbish and obtain new towels from reception.

We booked this one because of the rooftop jacuzzi - we didn't realize until after we got there that it was a surcharge to reserve it. I like that we had it to ourselves, but it was very nickel and dimey. We chose not to eat at the hotel for the free dinner because it was a very specific meal that didn't look appealing to us the nights we stayed there. We stopped by for coffee and cake hour and they only had lemon cake and the coffee machine was broken, so that was a little disappointing. The room was very small and didn't have a fridge, but the location was great and they had parking on site (it was an additional fee, but at least it was right at the front of the hotel). The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Staff are very nice, and try to go out of the way to pro ide service.. Check in was painless. The room was nice: 2 twin beds in a bedroom about 12 feet by.18 feet. The bedroom also has a deak, 2 chairs, and a small round glass top table.it didn't feel cramped. Beds were very comfortable: I slept very well. The bathroom has a heated floor. Bathroom Fixtures were new-appearing and looked modern.There are multiple outlets but no USB type A or type C ports. You will have to bring your own type C outlet adapters with USB ports to charge your phone, tablet, etc. The hotel provides breakfast, dinner, and a snack. Meals were very good. If you are renting a car, hotel parking is extremely limited. Be prepared to park elsewhere and pay up to the equivalent of $40 US per day. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shops are within easy walking distance.

On the waterfront and walking distance to everything. Airport bus stops close to hotel. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean, airy, and with blockout curtains. Breakfast, fika & a light evening meal provided as part of your stay. Food was delicious & varied.

I enjoyed my stay here; I was annoyed that when I arrived it cost additional money to utilize the hot tub. That was not apparent when I booked; I did get one nice enough day to use it so I paid and booked 30 minutes and it was worth it. The room was a little stuffy and the weather was rainy and I was unable to open the window much to try to air it out. When I did open the window it didn’t open far. The included breakfast and dinner was really good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was fine. Easy to get to on the airport shuttle. All kinds of great food and shopping right outside of the hotel. Only took me 30 minutes to walk across the bridge to the Cathedral.
