This is one of the few hotels I could find with balconies and a beautiful view of the mountains. The room was clean and the service was exemplary. The view from our room and the available outdoor space made this our go to destination. We were walking distance to so many great places, and a short drive to many others, we will be staying here again!

This place was very quaint and nicely tucked away near the scenic highways of NH towards Mt. Kanc etc. 1 of the reasons we chose to stay on this side of town. Rooms are a bit "old school" and mattresses could be more comfortable, but it's spacious, has everything you need and the small freezer in the fridge even froze our ice packs. There was a cute back porch/patio area with the view of the woods with lounge chairs. Parking was right near the door and was right off the highway. The management was SUPER sweet and nice. We didn't know that the front desk operates from 8 AM - 9 PM and there were no issues with us arriving after that. They called, had us send ID and extra info and left the room open for us with a nice note all set up.

The registration clerk was very friendly, we were very welcomed. The room was nice and the view was spectacular with a nice balcony. There was an issue with flies. I had to kill a half dozen horseflies and a few of those Aisan Lady Beetles. Also there was no tissue or flat iron. The bed was nice, linens smelled nice, and it was quiet and slept well. All in all it was a good value.

Every year that we come up to North Conway we stay here. It is convenient to all locations and dining. Staff is great and very accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We love it here!!!

The Heat/Air Conditioner has to be from the 1970's. Zero temperature control. Wake up, turn down because it's too hot; a half hour later turn up because it's too cold. ALL NIGHT. Ridiculous. The TV must be turned on manually, and the volume controlled at the TV manually. Other functions work through the remote. Maybe it's from the 1970's too? TV's are so cheap these days! One night's charge can buy a new one that is 10X better! The bed was ok. Pretty bad experience overall.

The room my husband and I stayed in was terrible...would not stay there again...the room had an odor, the mattress was very hard...don't know what was underneath the mattress but it definitely wasn't a box spring!! Looked like a large filing cabinet! Very dusty all over, leaky coffee maker, dirty coffee cups (looked like they had been used!) Overall cleanliness...Poor!!! Could use a Major makeover; don't know how this property has the nerve to charge almost $200 per/night - Not worth it!!
