It was a lovely place to stay, loved the pool. Showers had grime in corners and needs proper cleaning. Kettle was leaking out and the replacement was the same. No proper bar fridge/fridge, thus was not able to store medication that needed to be kept in a fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices and resonable price.

Sakala Resort, what a beauty! Stunning rooms, stunning hotel! A special thanks to Demmy and his team, I celebrated my Birthday whilst staying at Sakala last week and wow! A special Birthday breakfast with singing staff, a cake with candles and the most amazing food. Come home later that evening to Happy Birthday written on our bed in Banana leaf and red roses, absolutely stunning! Demmy and his team made our stay spectacular and we cannot thank them enough. Bali truly is beautiful.

The good things 1. The room of the hotel was clean and good. 2. There is a shuttle bus to the Bali collection shopping. The bad things: 1. The water of the swimming pool was so dirty and we could not swim. 2. The stuff members at the check-in counter didn’t explain about things in the hotel. 3. The staff members didn’t have enough hospitality attitude toward the guests.

Consider somewhere else
The room was full of insects and not clean. My son after sitting on the sofa started itching and once they took the cover out and replaced it with regular sheets he was able to sit. It’s a shame because it could be better. The beautiful details around the facility suggest it may had better days.I left after one night and lost my non- refundable payment. If you are booking this hotel don’t pay up in advance. There are many beautiful hotels in Bali with true Bali hospitality ,this is not one of them. The breakfast was ok, the overall stay for one night was not comfortable. I have requested that they pay attention to my complaints ( waited in the first night 3 hrs with back and forth msgs but saw the manager the following morning around 10 or 11)I also requested that they make sure it does not happen to someone else. I have suggested that they refund my payment because it will just assure me they are willing to make changes. The manager refused as it is policy. To me it only means they can’t do real changes.

I had the BEST time at Sakala Resort! It was on a beautiful property with great sunrise and sunset views. The resort owns a beachfront property across the street where they have nightly events, a restaurant and pool with a bar. The breakfast buffet offers western food and delicious classic Balinese dishes. My room was beautiful, and the bed was soooo comfortable! The room was a long walk from the lobby though. The staff at Sakala were the most AMAZING part!!! Guest Experience Manager Demmy made excellent suggestions and always made sure me and my family were happy. The best egg chef, Comme (I hope I spelled that right) was a sweet touch to my mornings! Now my Girl, Yani! She had JUST started working there when we met and she made my birthday soooo special!!!! She was the epitome of Balinese kindness culture and I love her! That’s right. I love her lol. Stay at Sakala if you wanna stay in Nusa Dua! You won’t be sorry!

We stayed at the sakala resort for 10 nights, staying in the 2 bed villa with pool. The villa was stunning and huge! The photos don’t do it justice, it was over two levels and the spaces were huge. The pool was great and we spent most of the time in the Villa. The service was exceptional generally, with a special mention to Mr Agung who was amazing. The private beach wasn’t amazing, very small and rubbish in the resorts area.

The team at Sakala are so friendly, attentive and helpful. In particular each morning the cincierge at breakfast would check in to .ake sure our stay is going well. I loved both pools and even sitting in the lobby relaxing with a drink. The ONLY thing I would improve on is the food. It was ok but not great for the price. But there some restaurants nearby that made up for it.

Limited choice on food same selection for the whole time i stayed which was 10 days Bbq night was 3 salads a few sweets and expensive. Dont mean to sound ungrateful just giving honest review. The pool areas are amazing the best i have stayed at. I was a solo traveller so probably should have stayed closer to more restaurants and spa choices.

We enjoyed our stay at The Sakala. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful & were so lovely to our kids. Highlights All requests were actioned in a fast manner. The room air conditioning was great. The hotel was impeccable clean, the room cleaners were fantastic and even lined our kids soft toys on their bed each time they made up the room. Demmy was helpful from the get go and would go above and beyond for our requests!

Lovely stay there. Undoubtedly the best aspect of the hotel is the staff - friendly and helpful down to the guys at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is Excellent

One of the best resort experiences we have ever had. The Villa was absolutely lovely, beautifully maintained, stylish, spacious and comfortable. It was cleaned daily with much care and attention. The pools were beautiful and we loved having access to our own pool. The staff were incredibly attentive and engaged. We were offered personalised activities that were brought to us. We particularly loved kite making and towel folding. Lots of fun and things we would never normally do. Breakfast was an absolute feast. Abundant and delicious choices with staff remembering our names, how we like our hot drinks and ensuring my son who has allergies was catered for. Each morning without asking they would come to see if they could make him anything that excluded the foods he could not eat. Similarity when we phoned room service they would let us know, without us needing to ask,if the food contained allergens. This was incredibly attentive. Highly recommended by all 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teens).

People in tourism in Indonesia are wonderful so we’re in Sakala resort . Breakfast was great. Room was clean and modern decorated although a bit worn out . Pools were great . But hotel is not exactly beachfront as advertised
