I traveled with my 7 year old daughter to Berkeley in the rare occasion of having an overnight trip with her. We walked through the many corridors to get to our room (signage is very confusing) only to find that our room was not cleaned that day. We then walked all the way back to the front desk to let them know and they directed up to another room. This one was clean, but once it was time for bed (10-11 and beyond), there was pot smoking and very noisy occurrences and loud talking happening next door. Also, no blackout curtains so room was lit in the early am even with curtains closed. Would not stay again and truly disappointed in this experience.

Don't think paying that much to park is necessary. You're not really located where parking should be an issue.

The view is amazing, but that is about it. Lol
The room was surface clean. The staff was ā€¦there. lol. I was severely overcharged for some snack items and then was told I was ā€œnot forced to buy themā€when I questioned the charges and crazy taxes added after the charges. My friend got two small snack bags of chips and three starbursts and two candy bars and it was over $40. I paid extra for a balcony room and then had to pay an additional fee when checking in for that balcony room I already paid for. I was told ā€œit is only a $25 chargeā€. It makes me wonder that if it is ā€œonly $25ā€, then why charge it in the first place. Also, you have to pay $5 to ā€œupgradeā€ the Wi-Fi they say they have provided for the room that is already over $200. lol The view is spectacular though.
