Roaches found in my original bedroom along with my bedroom given to me as a replacement after I notified management. Also woke up at 1 AM by someone knocking on the door only to find out that the exit door next to our bedroom was unlocked and unsecured the whole night, Allowing any random person to come in and out without management knowing. When asked if the door will be fixed management said yes, but never fixed it.

It was not clean. I was given a room on the bottom floor usually reserved for people with animals. The night clerk was rude and it was very dirty.

The room was filthy. Not just dusty but gross. The carpet stunk and the toilet ran all night. I was overlooking the parking lot and highway so the traffic kept me up along with people smoking pot in the parking lot. For $250 a night, I was expecting much more. The ONLY good thing is it was close to the Ocala Horse Park and Dunkin Donuts for much needed coffee. Very disappointed considering the cost. Will never do this again.

The place was filthy and bad. There were cockroaches, the rooms smelled bad. We tried to ask for a different room but they couldn’t accommodate us. The carpet was ripped. The paint on the walls was chipping, and in general the room was dirty and in bad condition. We only had two towels for a family of 4. I had to kill 5 cockroaches. The best they could do was give us an air freshener. We didn’t bother to eat the breakfast because the cockroaches were on the 2nd floor, so I imagine the first floor must have plenty.

It was an awful experience. The pool was drained and unavailable in the 92 degree June Florida day. They were doing a room remodel in the room next to ours, and the breakfast was limited to waffles, cereal, or bagels. Definitely two thumbs down Microtel!! Not coming back.
