Overall experience was great. The major downside was being awoken about 5 am on Sunday by a dog barking in the room across from ours. And, a dog owner who either had great ear plugs or really didn't care as the barking continued for some time. I gave up trying to sleep; at least there was coffee available in the lobby.

There were several people who slamming doors, and dropping something heavy on the floors above my room, but by 10:30 pm they were quiet. Good place to stay, would recommend it.

It’s a nice hotel but being a manager over housekeeping at a casino in southern Illinois, I found my room to be quite disgusting. I noticed when I got there after putting our things away, the notepad was used by a previous guest, cup ring on the pages and under the notepad, there was some kind of sticky stuff on the table. I then took a shower and walked from the shower to the bed to get dressed and noticed my feet were black so I asked my husband to get a washcloth and wipe the floor and it turned black! Nothing I said seemed to phase the FD worker. When we were getting to bed for the evening, I noticed the fitted sheet was inside out, the mirror in the bathroom was full of streaks and not clean at all. I appreciate the bed to sleep for the 3 nights, just very disappointed with the FD bit even asking if we wanted a different room or for HK to come back, when we asked for more towels, they told us there was none clean and to come back tomorrow!!! I am not very happy about this, but sure does make me proud of my staff I have at my place of work! They work very hard to make the rooms clean and very polite to our guests! I do have pictures!
