Elevator seemed risky as there was clear damage on the key pad, second floor button was pushed in by at least an inch. Hallway was extremely hot. Didn’t have hot water one morning.

You have to really like wet dogs to stay here and also not mind a lot of hair. It smelled so bad my husband checked out before I even showed up. He said the staff was very friendly and we received a refund.

Worst experience ever.
The room was full of dogs hair. It was very obvious on the comforters and table. There was also sticky stuff on the nightstand. I clean the table myself while my husband went to the front desk for new comforter and sheets. Upon pulling the comforter back, there was blood and boogers. So gross that we could not stay in the room any longer. They switched us to a different room. I thought I would save some money by booking at this place but that was unacceptable. I will never go back again.

Gravely outdated and breakfast not guaranteed!
Was disappointed. The hotel needs an update badly. Very outdated and dirty. My biggest complaint was the breakfast. On Monday, staff began to clean up breakfast at 9:34 AM. On Tuesday, staff began to clean up breakfast on 9:17 AM. There were several people that came down looking for breakfast once it had already been cleaned up. This is an amenity that was paid for. As parents traveling with children, this amenity becomes a necessity. For this reason alone, I will not stay at this hotel again. Last time we stayed at the Sleep Inn in Norman and had a much better experience. I hope upper management sees this review and corrects it for future families that may decide to stay here.

Just fine. Clean..good location. Not amazing.
I just had one night stay at this hotel, but the experience was completely average. I was late checking in and the clerk at the desk was just watching TV and had to get up and come over and check me in. The room was clean enough, and I realized that it’s a dog friendly hotel and worried that might be a problem, but it wasn’t. It was totally fine. My biggest beef with this location is that the parking lot is so dark. Any parking spot is a somewhat, dark walk into the hotel and since I was checking in late and a single female, I noticed and noted that I might not choose it again on my frequent trips to Norman for that reason. Like I said, it was just fine/just OK.

The help for check in at night (2300) was great! First noticed that the bed cover was stained or dirty. There was little left for breakfast at 0930 and no coffee in the airpots. Elevators were pretty beat up inside.

We booked a king room because it said it sleeps 3. Unfortunately there is no pull out bed or anywhere for the third person to sleep. There were also no extra pillows or sheets/blankets. We had to get extras from the front desk to make a pallet on the floor for our daughter to sleep. Then there was no hot water when we woke up the next morning and we had to take cold showers. When we called down to the front desk they were not apologetic and it seemed that this was a common occurrence because they were going to reset the pump. We usually do not stay with La Quinta because of the poor quality, but given the rating and that we were just passing through for the night we thought it would be okay. Not the case. We will continue our avoidance of La Quinta properties.

We stay here on our trips to OU because it’s close, clean, & reasonably priced. This trip our room smelled funky, the pool was closed, and at breakfast (waffle bar) they had no syrup. Normally very happy with this hotel. This time ehhh not as good.

We stayed for 2 days. Both days had no hot water in the shower. We were told the boiler had to be reset. Unfortunately, the first day we took cold showers because we needed to be somewhere at a specific time. The second day we were late because we had to wait for the water to heat up. I asked for a discounted rate and the front desk acted like resetting a boiler was a normal occurrence. I still have yet to hear from the hotel regarding a discount on the room. Very disappointing.

I booked a king room, but was put in a double queen. Beds were very small. Room stayed warm no matter how much we turned down thermostat. TV didn't work, and didn't have anyone available to fix/replace. Will not be staying there again.
