I liked my stay there, for the price its ok but its the first time that an hotel dont return me the deposit that the ask you for every night you stay, I called to the hotel and they told me that they are going to return me the deposit but after more of two months I dont see the return in my credit card its a shame that they dont care about that.

The lobby looks like they have renovated it. Staff was pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Property was clean and had a gate keeper. Had to fight for parking like any other hotel. We stayed in the tower. No nasty smells or anything. Enjoyable experience. I would stay again.

Customer service was great. Pictures on website were different for what i was given. Miss leading. Room was smelling like mold. Bed was really uncomfortable. I think 140.00 was really high for a run down hotel. Nothing grand about this place. Also 34.00 up charge for breakfast was ridiculous. 140.00 room an have to pay extra for breakfast. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

The property is in a good location. However, the rooms are dated. You can hear all outside noises from the windows and doors. the bathrooms are in bad condition. the showers dont work properly. the toilets are really small and not properly connected. the look nothing like the pictures that booking sites show. the towels are really cheap. and the showers have these joke of a tub options which arent in the pictures

Hurricane Milton stay
We were fleeing Hurricane Milton when this room became available. Things started rough as they were out of their signature giant cookies (we never did get our cookies over a 3-day stay). No elevators and we were on the second floor. While the room did provide comfortable shelter, and the lounge chair was very comfortable, the floor was the dirtiest hotel floor I'd ever walked on. My black socks had a visible coating that I'd wipe off regularly, and my clean feet turned black quickly after a few minutes on the room carpet. The food served in the main dining area was excellent and a great value for the $ spent. While we were told we'd be getting most of our security deposit ($75 a night for 'incidentals'), it was never made clear what those incidentals were. Our $500 three-night stay became almost $725, much to our shock, once we learned 2 days after check-out that parking and resort fees weren't included in the room price (while we were led to believe that they were, as no explanation was given and a hurricane was coming). The whole experience, during a time when people should've been helpful to others, just left us angry and with $225 less than we'd planned in our account. We didn't have the $ for the room, let alone the BS additional charges, and now we'll be paying interest on $750, instead of $500. Had I known this, I never would've booked here.

Nice staff. Close to most things. I didnt rent a car so I used uber and uber eats. Do not take a local cab, they will over charge. If you going to Disney you have to call to arrange pickup 3 hours in advance. room was ok. i didnt like the distance from the desk because it was dark at night on the pathways

Stayed in the main tower evacuating from Milton. The hallways and room smelled musty and the carpet was sticky to walk on bare foot. Power went out for 2 hours the day before the storm even got close. $120 bill for 2 days of parking and 'resort charge" (not a tax). Can stay at significantly nicer hotels 2 blocks away for less and no hidden charge surprises. Look at the Hyatt Regency or Rosen plaza/centre instead of this place. Rosen hotels even gave a discount to evacuees instead of gouging them.

I reported my tv was not working and the lights were out above the sink. Four hours later I’m back to the room and the lights were working. Alas, it did not last so there is a bigger problem there than just changing the bulbs. The TV was now getting a signal but the onscreen directions were for a remote that was not supplied. What the heck? So neither problem resolved adequately. Room 1211. But they gave me warm cookies when I arrived!!!!! Bonus!

The first room had mold. They tried to cover it up with paint then the next room they gave me was damp carpet was wet bedsheets were damp finally gave me another room. Elevators only one working not a good experience post hurricane

The staff was very friendly. The room was not what we expect from Doubletree. Floor section was loose and stood up right in the center of the floor. 7-day stay only 2-day room service. Bathroom door made screeching sound when opening (bottom of door). Room was next to the elevator and a banging sound frequently at night would wake us(? loose hydraulic line ??). loby in the tower had a terrible odor. Very disappointed.
