The resort also has time share so they push a gift card for you to attend a time share seminar and they are persistent. We were not interested. The information sheet was not accurate, the pizza hut express closes at 12am and info sheet states 1am, website says 12am. They should update hours on info sheets given to guests. The rooms are fully equipped but furniture is worn down and outdated. We were in building 5 and to get into builsing with key cards , the readers dont work properly, many guests reported this. You wouls be there 3 to 5 minutes to get into building, before reader worked. Breakfast by pool is very limited and only one person working. Staff at front desk was efficient and welcoming.

2nd time staying at Lake Buena Vista Resort, first time during COVID August 2021. The Pool View from Bldg 3 Floor 14 was overwhelming could not enjoy being on the balcony with the kiddos should have gotten Floor 7 which is more eye Level. Resort was packed wanted a Fireworks view like our past visit but was sold out. Had maintenance come within 10 minutes of checking due to power issues but it was resolved immediately. Kids enjoyed being in their own room. Had an awesome time at the Pirate ship pool with food and drinks. Overall great visit .

Overall, our stay was great. We would stay at this property again. However, I did not like that they tried to get you to sign up for a time-share meeting at check-in. My other negative was the bedding. I do not like it when the fitted sheet doesn't cover the mattress. That to me, seems dirty. They make deep pocket fitted sheets and I don't understand why they wouldn't be used. Also, one of the top sheets on our king-size bed was not the correct size and barely covered us.

We have stayed here once before and liked it so it was an easy decision to come back. We did have 2 issues during our stay, the room aboves jacuzzi bath was very loud at 2am and then leaked through our light fitting and a room below us having a Halloween party at 3am both times the staff dealt with this. Our room card did stop working a couple of times as well but that was easily sorted. Some elements of the room were looking tired but overall it was very clean and had everything we needed. Don’t worry about bringing a tea towel/washing up liquid/sponge as that is all provided as well as 2 sachets each for the dishwasher and washing machine. There were also plenty of towels provided. We used the gym multiple times which is very clean and in a good condition, the kit is slightly better than other hotel gyms but it is really missing some free weights. We did use the pool once which was a little cold. It was great being so close to the outlets. We did walk to both Publix and Walmart, there isn’t a walkway all the way to Walmart unless you go the back way past Publix. We used the hotel transport to Disney which was brilliant it was simple to book, there was always plenty of seats and it was prompt. We mostly got an Uber or Lyft back but did use the transport a couple of times. We like the space this hotel gives us rather than being further away in a villa.

This property is in serious need of an update. The room was very dated. No USB ports nor were the TV's streaming friendly. The pool was ok but pretty cold. The hot tubs out of 4 of them only one or two worked. Actually one had caution tape surrounding it, and another was hot one night and cold the next. It left one hot tub open for all the guest to try and pile in. The room itself had paint chiping and flaking. The furniture was quite dated and scratched up. If you want your room refreshed while your staying and more towels. Your going pay extra for it. Even though I paid almost a year in advanced I was charged a deposit. The shuttle bus to the parks had a very strick and limited schedule. On top of it a sales group was setup in the lobby to try and sale you a membership in a so called travel club (AKA) time share. I think not! Sorry folks these are the cold hard facts.

Will stay here again. Needed to cancel plans first night. 3 calls and 3 hours waiting for maitnence and housekeeping. Other then that, great visti. Just dont have reservations anywhere your first night.
