I was looking forward to staying at this resort as a treat. The lobby is very impressive as is the pool area. Rooms are pretty basic cleanliness average. I was expecting the rooms to have a bit more wow factor. We have paid less with a much bigger room with an added free breakfast for less than the price of this resort. Pool food was very nice and not expensive. Would i return? Not in any rush alot nicer hotels for less money.

Margaritaville was nice for a one time visit
My reservation through Hotels.com did not make it into Margaritaville's system. Therefore what I had to pay at the hotel was higher than what Hotels.com told me. The resort is overpriced for what you get there. The food was mediocre at all 3 restuarants. The lobby is stunning. The rooms are nice but the bathroom needs an exhaust fan and a real shower door. The room air freshener is overpowering. Besides the pools there is little to do on property.

We evacuated to this property due to the hurricane in St. Petersburg; our home was destroyed. We were given a room on the 5th floor. When hurricane Milton hit Orlando, our room began to leak. We were then transferred to another room on the 2nd floor. I left my clothes in a drawer when we checked out on Thursday. I immediately called to report this and was advised that it might take a day or two to locate my items. Finally, on Monday I was told that the items were found and they would be mailed to me. I feel that this turnaround time was unacceptable in that since I had evacuated, I had no other clothes. Not the hotel's fault that I left the items, but I feel it should not have taken that long! Also, I feel that the "resort" fee of $40 per day should have been waived in that the resort was not usable due to the hurricane. Again, not the hotel's fault that the hurricane hit, but they should have been more compassionate about hurricane victims.

The hallway decor. They did not clean my room until 5:30 after I had to call it in. They did not send me the things I requested for my room. The ice machine didn’t work the entire time I stayed. I tried to get get at the bar and they were not very friendly. The pool attendant wouldn’t come over to take drink or food orders. We had to go to the bar and do it ourselves.

Staff at check in were unfriendly and lacked compassion. We were evacuated from the Gulf Coast due to hurricane. Pools were freezing. Pool heaters were not on. We are Floridians and know the difference.
