The property was located in a convenient area. The issues I had this time was the noise of the other guests playing music long after 10PM and the ongoing stench of smoking in the halls and management did not seem to care. The breakfast was inedible after trying it and cannot see myself staying there again.

I chose the hotel for its location as I wanted somewhere off-airport but easy to get to from the airport. In that regard it was perfect. Otherwise not so much. Check-in was efficient but unsmiling. The room was a good size but the bed and pillows were hard and the decor dreary. There was a hairdryer tethered in a drawer with a lead which was too tight and very uncomfortable to use. The wifi was good except when it didn't work at all for about an hour in the morning. After check-out I left my baggage with the concierge. When I returned for the bags and asked to use a restroom, I was directed to a rather unpleasant one outside. Not being able to use facilities within the hotel seemed rather poor care for someone who had just spent almost £100 for a night's stay.

Room (and particularly bathroom) was small but all OK (we didn't have a cat to swing anyway). Toiletries good, bed comfortable and everything clean (every day....we stayed 6 days). Restaurant handy and good selection and the proximity to the MRT made life very easy. Concierge was extremely helpful......a good stay all round in fact. Would stay again.

The room was right by the lift and it sounded like there was a thunderstorm all night. Two hairdryers were in the room. One had no plug and the other didn’t work. The plug in the bathroom sink didn’t release and got stuck. Great location on top of the Lavender MRT station. Staff were friendly.

This is 2024 in Singapore, how do you have drains that smell like sewage? Do disgusted by the smells from the washroom. Figured out the hack was to cover the drain with plastic bag when not using, and always close toilet lid and sink drain. The shower is 24”x24”, super small but can live with that. Only one nice and friendly staff member in 5 days of staying here. Not once were we even welcome, when they open the door and you walk in the lobby.

Rooms are very small and shower position is terrible. You can only use the shower as hand held. If you put it in the holder you can't use it as the water will splash against the wall and ceiling as there is no swivel to set the direction to point down on the person.

Hotel was close to MRT station and about 20 mins by cab from airport ( had to use cab due to very early flight home - cost about S$35). Hotel kindly allowed us to check in early at 8 am without any extra cost. Some maintenance issues in room - wallpaper peeling off wall, tv had large fault in screen. Would stay at this hotel again.

I can’t say my stay was perfect but the Reception managers were always there to rectify the issue right away. I didn’t need to follow up excessively for them to find a solution. They even sent an apology gift for the inconvenience which was a good surprise after a long day from attending a concert. The hotel is at a very convenient location with no shortage of options on where to eat and buy necessities. My only cons were the shower area is so small and they provide shower gel but no small towel or some sponge or loofah to actually properly use it.
