I liked everything but I do feel like they should have more than 5 channels. Yes some people are just there for vacation but when we unwind we would like to have a wider selection of channels.

I liked the location, you can walk to International Drive, the size of the room, with 2 beds and 1 sofa bed, with minibar and microwave. I didn't like not changing the bed sheets, and breakfast could be more varied in hot dishes, just scrambled eggs and sausage.

My family and I booked a 10 day stay. Positive: Hotel was located at a busy intersection with plenty of stores and restaurants near by. It has a shuttle service to Universal that leaves at 10am every morning and returns at 7:45pm, very convenient. Hot breakfast is provided daily, and the hotel is equipped with a jaccuzzi and swimming pool. The price was reasonable. Negatives: The pool and Jacuzzi closes at dusk, which was highly inconvenient. We considered switching hotels because of this. After a long day at the parks, we just wanted a soak, but the management would not budge. The breakfast is provided, but get used to sausage rounds with Styrofoam texture and powdered scrambled eggs. It's free, so I'm certainly not complaining, but just be aware before you book. The butter is refrigerated and always cold and unspreadable on toast. This hotel is set up motel style, which is one of the reasons I chose this property, as I'm a smoker. For 9 day out of 10 we were told I was allowed to smoke on the balconies, just outside our room door. Day 9, the manager arrived and informed us that I would have to travel all the way to the lobby to smoke; very misleading. The parks expert tried to swindle us into switching to a 5-star hotel, even though I paid in full upon arrival. She used a scam like approach using phrases like "I won't be here tomorrow" which of course she was. She seemed nice enough, but no deal was possible without tours of other hotels, and hours of our time.

Great location close to everything but still far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating and helpful. Room was clean, clean towels, clean linens. Beds veered comfortable but smallish. Pool area was very pretty and well kept. I really liked that each room opened to the outside instead of an interior hallway. The TV could have been a little bigger and the sound was kinda terrible but no big deal really. Free breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal and yogurt. Toast and do it yourself waffles. Also walking distance from Duncan Donuts, McDonald’s and Popeyes and several more places. If you are looking for a fancy resort type room, this is not the place but if you are looking for a decent room to serve as a staging and rest area for your trip this is a great economical choice. One more thing that deserves honorable mention is the family of very tame squirrels that populate the parking area and sometimes venture into the courtyard. Very enjoyable to just relax and watch them go about their little squirrel lives with little or no fear of residents or staff.

Overall, clean room. Did not like the exterior entrance. Windy and hard to stay dry on entry. Bed was medium comfort; pillows not so much! Very dated and cheap furniture/electronics. Tub faucet dripped and could not stop. Good water pressure in shower and fast hot water. Fridge and microwave good. Breakfast was horrible; cold and undercooked poor quality sausage... powdered eggs with no flavor... no bagels as an alternative... hard boiled eggs were slimy, so could not take a chance... coffee tasted burnt and watery (should not have bothered serving). At the least, would have liked a good cup of coffee...not hard to do! If the room was $50 to $70 a night, I would have felt like I was ok for a one night stay. Way over priced for what was received.

The rooms were clean but the TV service was limited and the in room refrigerator noisy and annoying. The breakfast that was included was a joke. One of the main reasons we selected this hotel was that breakfast was included. We stayed nine nights at this hotel and the breakfast was the same every day. Powdered eggs, sausage patty and waffle, every day. The hotel was very dated and need of remodel. I would not stay here again.

PROS: Very spacious and has a door to separate the living room and bedroom. big bathroom area. Comfortable bed and soft pillows and sheets. Quiet AC. The location was spectacular for Universal and Islands of Adventure. Breakfast was ok. CONS: A room key is required to gain access to the 2 doors that let you in to the property, and of those 2 doors, the one near the ONLY elevator did not work. You are not permitted to take a plate of food from the breakfast area to serve it to whoever is hungover and waiting for it in your hotel room.

It is a good basic hotel, inexpensive, but well kept. The room is spacious, the beds are very comfortable. It is close to Universal but in a quiet area. Breakfast is good. I recommend.
