I love boutique hotels and have stayed here many times. Usually, what boutiques offer is wonderful upgrades because the infrastructure is quircky. The bed was horrible and that is an item that should be top notch. Don’t start skimping, you’ll lose your loyal customers.

They helped us get into our rooms about an hour prior to my check in and that provided us with the space to unload our stuff and go out and eat after.

A little overpriced but great location
I like that they give you a code to your room and there is no check in/check out process. However if you needed something from 'the front desk' I feel like that may be an inconvenience? I arrived when it was dark outside and it could be more lit up in the parking area for comfort of safety. I stayed in Room 7 and it was much smaller than I expected (fine for me travelling as a solo person but I don't know where you would put two suitcases). The room was decorated beautifully, modern touches thruout, recently renovated and shower was lovely. They had a coffee pourover setup which is a bonus that I also love and a mini fridge in the room. Walking distance to Pagosa Springs and all the little shops too.
