Our first night there we heard a dripping sound from bathroom but just thought it was the shower then woke up went to bathroom and found big water bubble that had busted and mess …. Went to front desk and let them know due to us not being able to to take a shower and get ready with a time limit and they moved us rooms without any offer of help to move rooms or any other assistance

Our First Choice in Pasadena
We love the location of this hotel. It's within walking distance of the wonderful Vroman's bookstore (books, newspapers, games, cards, gifts, coffee shop, etc.) and many great restaurants and shops. It is adjacent to the lovely Plaza de Las Fuentes with its sculptures and fountains. The Ventana's restaurant staff are attentive and the food delicious. The housekeeping staff do a terrific job with the rooms and the fitness center and rooftop pool. It is quiet and comfortable. Will always stay here when we visit Pasadena.

This has become our favorite place to stay when visiting family in Pasadena. Aside from quality of what you'd expect from a 4-star Westin, we loved the fancy new water dispenser and the free help-yourself morning coffee near the restaurant.

The lady who checked me in was rude and crass when I asked her questions about parking. Told me to go outside and ask the valet myself since she didn’t know. I prepaid for a king room and was made to feel like she was doing me a favor for finding one after I was told there wasn’t one available while checking in. In the room, the temperature control wasn’t working, we called to get it looked at and nothing was done about i, with a toddler with us, we didn’t want to fuss anymore, and just slept in a hot room. The shower only had two towels in it when we arrived.

Front desk was not very welcoming nor friendly. We booked a king and was told they were all sold out and had to give us a double. No apology, nothing. She was super straight faced and didn’t care to even make eye contact. Why am I pre-paying for something I’m not guaranteed? Also, unclear parking fees. They charged me extra for oversized vehicle which was literally just parked outside the hotel. Valet guys couldn’t even pull up my car for easier loading access. Instead, the guy just handed us the key and had us pull it out of the corner ourselves. Thanks for charging me extra for them to do less work. Get your act together, Westin. First and last time ever staying at a Westin chain. Big fancy name means nothing here.
