Cumberlands Crown Jewel
Our 6th floor Lakeview room had a million dollar view !! So worth it. We left the curtains wide open the whole time ! The room was clean and the king size bed was so comfortable. Several pillows to add to your comfort as well. The walk in glass shower with the rainshower head was a nice touch. We had lunch from Signatures at the boat house dock overlooking the beautiful lake and dinner in the Lakeside Grille with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. After dinner we sat outside around a firepit table on comfortable outdoor furniture near the covered bar. All this just steps away from the Casino !! Will definitely return soon with my golf league !

The resort is in a beautiful setting . The rooms are quiet. We did not have a microwave as advertised. We requested fresh towels and left the used towels in the hallway in a plastic bag as instructed. The bag was not picked up before we left - 2 days after placing outside our door The food at the restaurants was marginal, nothing special. The location is remote and it was necessary to drive to a decent restaurant.

Good resort with potential to be a great destinati
This resort has so much potential but falls short in a few areas. First the property and surrounding areas are gorgeous. The mountains offer a number of trails including one that does around the lake. The hotel has a great outdoors setup along the lake and is just beautiful. We spent the majority of our time in this outdoor area and the trails. The room was clean and decent for the price we paid. Our biggest issue was the decor did not fit the area. There were 3 “things” hanging in the room. These things had a word with a couple of horizontal stripes with different colors. The resort is surrounded by so much nature beauty and we wished it was incorporated into the room. The casino was nice just note table games are not 24/7 like the slots. We had breakfast and dinner at the Lakeside grill and the food was decent to above average. We loved the decor of the restaurant and the big windows that overlook the lake and mountains. We also ate at Signature Grill and the food was average. The sports bar feeling was great. Definitely go back for beer and sports There were a number of small things that could be fixed easy to make this place much better. Everytime during 3 days there was never any towels and we checked the used towel bin and it was always empty. Also don’t except any form of housekeeping including fresh towels or trash service. You have to call the front desk for everything. Only hotel I recently stayed that do not do daily security and freshen up checks.

Rocky Gap is a hidden gem! The resort area is beautiful and the people are so nice. Allison at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The food at the Signature was delicious.

Took a long time to get food at the sports bar. Burger was excellent when it did arrive. Staff was very accommodating. Dropped my wedding band behind the dresser and could not get it out. Two staff members came up and moved it late at night to retrieve it for me. I was so grateful.

This was our first trip here, and we were not disappointed. The resort is very clean and pretty. I loved the casino; we did have some luck. We ate at Lakeside and Signatures bar and grill, both were great. We had a great stay at Rocky Gap Resort.
