Did not meet my expectations, will not return
I wanted this place to be awesome because of the pictures of the outside and the reviews but it did not meet the expectations. The outside of the hotel was nice but the standard rooms are horrible. I had a feeling it was going to be a bad stay when the door did not open with the key! I did not get rest because the front door had a big opening at the bottom so you can see out to the parking lot and hear everything from the car doors opening, the car alarms and the traffic from the road. The bathroom was a mess… dirty, the shower had no pressure and the door does not lock. The other room we booked was just as bad! The ceiling in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall in at any moment. I shared this feedback with the lady at the desk and she mentioned the deluxe rooms were remodeled well that maybe true but it didn’t change a thing for my stay.

From the start it was very good. Everything was nice and clean. At first the fireplace won't light but the young lady was able to get it going while we went to dinner. At breakfast the next morning the lady there was super nice! Will be going back again soon!!!

Although the property is old, everything was clean and comfortable. The area between buildings with beautiful trees and grass, was perfect for walking our dogs. The breakfast was very convenient and great food. The office people were always friendly and efficient. We will certainly stay there again should our travels take us to that area.
