Check-in was smooth. Very confusing to get up to my room, but more of a personal problem. Breakfast was lackluster. Great rooms with a lot of space. Clean for the most part and very friendly staff.

Look elsewhere.checked in around 9pm and both front desk people were on the phone and didn’t acknowledge me for 5 minutes. The elevator wasn’t working and my husband is on crutches. Carpet coming up in main areas, room career had stains and was peeling up. Bed was hard as a rock. Room smelled musty, was very small for 2 beds.

The staff was very friendly. Conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown Petoskey. Great price for the time of year we went. Rooms were clean, but could use a little updating.

Fun night with 2 teenagers
It was nice, a little dated and I was worried about peoples comments but it was a fun experience for my self and two children. The hot tub in the pool area had weak jet and no bubbles. One fun thing that was unexpected was they had limo service so my kids loved that, the gentleman driving took us to our restaurant and picked us back up, this was all a complimentary service!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the room smelled like smoke, the hot tub was dirty (there was a line around it that looked like it could have been an iron stain, but we could rub it clean. Ewww. Did NOT get all the way in.), there was a free shuttle to downtown, that was not there, and I did not get a response back from the hotel on the shuttle times. Not coming back

Unprofessional and slow service
We arrived to check in at 3pm and our room wasn’t ready. Seat clerk said it should be ready in 35 minutes and she would call us. Good thing we decided to get an early dinner even though we wanted to freshen up and change since it was rainy and chilly. Never got a call back. We go back about 6:30 and there were 2 parties waiting before us. Stood in line for about 20 minutes before the same desk clerk came back. She was frazzled. When came my turn I mentioned that we were supposed to get a call and she blamed it on the manager who left. There were complaints about rooms not being ready. I was supposed to initial that I would be liable for any damages or smoke smell (we don’t smoke either way) but at this point we didn’t know what we were getting in to. I commented that I was worried about initialing anything and the desk clerk slammed her hand down on the paper, crumpled the paper up and threw it on the floor. Unbelievable!! We did take pictures of the damages on the wall to make sure we wouldn’t be liable. Breakfast tables were sticky, seems from build up. Our paper plates stuck so bad even ripped our paper plates when we were going to throw them away. So disgusting and disappointing for the price you pay.

Would stay again - good not great
The room itself was nice, clean, and had nightstands with USB plug on both sides. The hallways were very dated, low light and brought the rest of the experience down. Once you walk into the room, it feels very different. We did use the pool and the hottub which were not stellar but a nice touch. The location is also great. I would stay here again.

Loved the view and the convenience to dining and shopping. Our room was very clean. The continental breakfast was excellent with many great choices. I think this motel could use more and larger elevators as we only found one very small elevator to use for our baggage. Otherwise, stair exercise was fine. :)
