The bathroom state wasn't good at all, with a bad smell even if it was clean. Otherwise, the rest of the room was very acceptable. Excellent service by the staff, good breakfast and pool very appreciated for the kids.

Check in was quick and easy. Sharron at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable about how things worked. I got locked out my room because of the dead bolt. She rectified the problem and changed my room. .

The facility was very clean and the staff were very friendly. On our second morning of our stay we didn’t have any hot water for our showers and the water pressure was severely lacking. My wife and I were very disappointed

After booking the hotel and reading the reviews, I got worried and considered canceling and finding another place. However, the stay turned out to be better than expected. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so the exterior looked dirty, and the hallways, carpets, furniture, and even the beds all needed updating. Despite this, my family slept comfortably without any noise or disturbances. The breakfast was very disappointing, but overall, the stay was cheaper than what other reviews suggested, which was a positive aspect.

Unfortunately the water was turned off when we arrived, due to renovations. The couch had a steel bar sticking out of it that my son hurt his ankle on. The room we stayed in had no cover on the smoke alarm. No clue if it was functional. There was a fire alarm that went off at 2:20am and we were evacuated ftom the building. No explanation or discount given the next day. The breakfast was poor and unsanitary (ie to make toast, everyone had to put their hand in the same plastic bag yo obtain bread. No tongs available). No fruit, muffins croissants or individual breakfast foods available. Will not stay nor recommend La Quinta Plattsburgh, NY.

Several people including us got locked out of our rooms after eating breakfast. It took over an hour to get someone to help us get in. Then the deadbolt wouldn’t work so we could not leave our room as our belongings would not be locked up. Staff seemed to care very little and apparently this happens all the time. We were told we would be compensated but never were even after asking several times and being told several times we would be. Horrible management staff.

As soon as we walked in, we felt itchy. There was a big yellow stain on the bed, the chair in the corner was broken, the toilet seat didn’t sit right on the toilet, and the sink was dirty
