It was under construction. Banging being done on the building on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Too many workers hanging out in the parking lot at all hours. The hallways smell and the carpet is my room was disgusting. Brown stains all over it, The staff was friendly and professional.

The rooms are really old & smell. They could use an update. There is a dusty fan on the ceiling, the shower curtains don’t stay closed & when showering the water doesn’t drain properly, so the water pools around your feet. The light fixtures are really old and by the sink area, only one worked out of 3. They are doing work on the outside of the building, so I’m guess that’s why there were so many little gnats flying around. The room I was staying in was directly over the balcony to the front entrance and you can hear everyone’s conversation while they stood outside. Not to mention, the view was of just the rocks & roof & we didn’t open our window because it felt like someone could just look right in. but I didn’t stay for the view, so that I will excuse. I don’t see myself staying here again, but if I really needed to I would. I did not take any pictures, because I don’t normally post negative when I stay somewhere, but they really need to make some major improvements!!

The staff was very nice, however the hotel is under renovation and therefore noise and dust are easy to find. The room was ok to spend the night but pretty old and simple, I hope that part of the reno includes upgrading the rooms. I would ise again because the location and lrice were good.

If you want fleas and dog hair all over your sheets, its the place to be.. We were given a room on the first floor and as soon as we layed on the bed at night, 2 fleas came out jumping. (I do not own animals). This is a pet friendly hotel which I wasnt aware of. There was also a door connecting to the next room and we could hear every conversations people had on the other side. It also felt like an elephant was walking above us because the floors were so thin. When I saw the fleas I asked the front desk to switch rooms immediately (employee was nice and agreed to show me a diff room at least), but since the hotel was pretty much sold out that night, all that was left was a room that was currently being renovated and not as nice as the one we booked. The new room had a very strong odor (soaps in men's urinal type of smell). There was no blackout curtains, only cheap plastic blinds. The sheets were covered in dogs hair even though they were supposed to be clean... They also had a fruit fly problem, they were all over the lobby and in both rooms. At this point we just gave up, slept and got the hell out of there next morning. Since we booked with expedia, the hotel couldnt do more for us so it wasnt worth trying to deal with management the next day. At least the bed was comfy and we didnt get any bites, but man was this room overpriced for what we got. Would not recommend this hotel unfortunately. :(

After booking the hotel and reading the reviews, I got worried and considered canceling and finding another place. However, the stay turned out to be better than expected. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so the exterior looked dirty, and the hallways, carpets, furniture, and even the beds all needed updating. Despite this, my family slept comfortably without any noise or disturbances. The breakfast was very disappointing, but overall, the stay was cheaper than what other reviews suggested, which was a positive aspect.
