We had a room that was beautiful. There’s a back patio that is next to the water with a vast Mountain view. There were horses next to the property that we got to pet. The room was very cool, beds were comfortable, and breakfast in the morning was great! All hot options and not Continental style. The restaurant on site was reasonably priced and nice we didn’t need to go out again. I highly recommend staying here. We stayed at other hotels on this trip that are resort type and this place beat them by far! Even in price! Very close to Lake McDonald as well.

DON’T DO IT! The cabins are in the parking lot of a Conoco station. They are noisy with truck traffic, gas station activity, and a noisy air conditioner. Don’t be fooled thinking they are accessory to the lodge-set aside at a quiet, private venue. That couldn’t be further from the truth!

The view was amazing, and staff was friendly. Beds were ok, they would need new ones before I stay again. The staff helped my hubby, but my main complaint is the restaurant was near our door, but they made me walk all the way around and order at the front counter and then had the counter ladies deliver the food??!! Then asked us if we wanted to order more drinks and I watched them place a couple's order before mine and a single lady AFTER me. I also had to go find someone at 1130 at night and have them turn off the bright AF lights they had on near our door..UMMM Yeah..

The one level property is 20 yards from a very busy highway, with no sound barrier. Couldn't fall asleep at night. The advertised photos show the great mountain background on the east side, yet no photos are available of the terrible west-side proximity to the highway.

This was an excellent place to stay. The view from the dining area is beautiful. The staff suggested we check out the Bison Preserve during our stay. It was great!!!! Highly recommend staying at this lodge.
