Friendly staff and good continental breakfast. The only objection was the strong smell on the hall way. In our room it smell like lobster. We discovered the microwave had some kind of liquid that stenched like lobster.

Staff were lovely. Bed was very comfortable and bedding was great. Bathroom wink was very worn and showing age. Slight musty smell in our room.

The front desk people are very nice. The beds and carpets seem to be updated and are comfortable. But the furniture is older and dinged up, and the bathroom floor could use a deep clean. There was also an overwhelming scent of cleaner or detergent or air freshener throughout the hotel and the room. So much so that our clothes and other items reeked of it when we returned home. I would dial that back a notch if I were management. It almost hurts your throat and nasal passages.

We only stayed a night, got to our hotel and checked in fine, got into our room an it smelled like pee. We looked around more noticed the fridge had been unplugged and for a decent amount of time for it to be warm n yucky wet inside. So, we couldnt use that. Then, the A/C unit had been kept on warm cool so it was also sticky in there. Not being there five minutes someones fire alarm went off and we weren't sure what to do, realizing no one else was evacing I went back to checkin and asked for a new room or even just a air freshner. I knew it wasn't the lobby attendants fault so I was kind. She gave a spray bottle of some kinda air freshner spray n apologized. We sprayed the room, opened spme windows and left to get food. The smell stayed all thoroughout the night to and our fire alarm randomly went off when there was no smoke. As we both were laying in bed. So, personally don't plan on staying there again.

Honestly. I generally have low expectations for motels and inns. But this place was FANTASTIC. First of all, it was super clean. The bedding and bed were so comfortable. The area was quiet and peaceful. The breakfest was simple and satisfying. We were on a long roadtrip and this was a pleasant stop, especially after the hustle and bustle of Portland.
