No elevator, Place Needs Work!
It looked nice on the outside. Check-in -- the young man was very nice and apologetic, but he was unable to put us in a first floor room as requested (somebody's poor planning or lots of long-term guests with no cars???). Our 1st room -- first use of toilet resulted in a clog and the maintenance guy had had to go home early, so it was unclogged quickly but not completely. The young man, again nice and apologetic, moved us asap. The 2nd room, after he left and we had settled in again, had a faulty air conditioner! The nice and apologetic young man said that the air conditioners were being replaced only one or a few rooms at a time, so he would have to go look for an available room. By this time, my husband decided that we would just go back to the 1st room where we knew at least the air conditioner worked. Besides, the 2nd Room had torn wallpaper and looked dirtier over all. So back we moved, glad we were just there for a night! Someone had quickly remade the bed in that 1st room -- that I had rested in -- w/o changing the sheets or pillows. Yucky if a new customer had gotten that room! Breakfast was in a small section of the lobby. with small, old tables. It was just ok with the waffle-maker, sausage, and some slimy eggs.

This hotel was conveniently located for area attractions. The bed was very comfortable, and the property was clean, but there was an overpowering and mildly unpleasant smell of cleaning products throughout our stay. The hotel is very dated and could use an overall update (new carpet/get rid of the popcorn walls/outlets were very loose). I felt it was a bit expensive for what you got.

No elevator, terrible odor in room, felt dirty, more like a Super 8 than a Quality Inn. Parking is terrible. Bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom not very clean.

The shower head was inoperable. I spoke to the manager/owner several times and they never offered to come to the room to help. I called several times to speak with the manager and they never agreed to speak to me or to acknowledge the broken shower head. Very poor customer service!

We requested for two connecting rooms when booking more than a month ahead, but we ended up having one room as a connecting room with other guests, the other room way down in the hallway. The room was not soundproof. We could clearly hear their conversations and music coming from the other side of the connecting room. We do appreciate the front desk had helped to address the issue so that we had a good sleep.

Well located for visiting Roosevelt mansion and associated sights as well as other historic houses in the area. Room is good as are facilities. It was quiet. We were glad that our second floor room faced the trees and not the parking lot.

The room served its purpose. It was clean but small. Definitely no frills. Breakfast was less than appetizing. There was no bottled water to be found in the hotel. There was filtered (I think) water at breakfast but it was not available at other times.
