The stay was OK. Close to all the sights and attractions. Would recommend to others.

This was a good standard for a 3 star hotel with very pleasant, helpful and courteous staff. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and clean with a good view from the balcony across the Bay of Naples. The continental breakfast had a number of choices and was similar those offered by other 3 star hotels. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room and the bath towels were a little strange - more like the material in table cloths rather than towelling. Small points but this would elevate the hotel to 5/5. The location is a pleasant walk from the Sorrento centre and there is a bus stop at the front door for EAV line A bus that takes you to town and the station for €1.20. The Sorrento taxi service is very expensive (€25 train station to hotel - about 2km). There is no need to feel isolated when going for an evening meal. The staff offer 5 restaurants who will provide transport to and from each but there is an excellent restaurant close by, about 150m further up the road. Ristorante Verdemare is at via Capo 70 and after eating there on 3 successive evenings, we recommend it very highly for quality and choice at a very reasonable price. John & Sarah
