The hotel is clean and the staff helpful and friendly. It definitely could use some mainstream. The bathroom floor was constantly wet either from leaky toilet or sink. Shower also sprayed water everywhere as needs new seals. Breakfast was good. Rooftop pool definitely needs an update. But😀. Price was good. Very close to Malecon and many wonderful restaurants. Perfect for short stays. Would go again❤️

They out us on two bedroom. I had reserved a single bed. First the key didn’t work. The bell boy had to try several times. When we tried taking a shower no hot water. We called the front desk and she said that she knew it was not working that the service guy was not in. She said to leave running. We wanted almost a half hour and no hot water. The next morning we tried again and no hot water. The front lady didn’t seem ti care. We went out of the room and the key didn’t work. We had to try several times before it work. We went downstairs and spoke to a guy. We told him about the water and the key not working. He said he had reported the issue to management and he they never fixed it. He reprogrammed the keys and went to try it again. He had trouble opening the door. He kept trying and after several attempts it worked. He said there must be something with the lock. He said to just keep trying. Sure enough when we went back and tried opening the door it didn’t work. Again we had to try several times until it work. They just didn’t seem to care.

Last time staying here.
I booked a room the same day I arrived. I booked on line. When I got to the hotel checking in was easy. The women there gave a room on the 3rd floor. I had stayed at this hotel before and I liked it. However this time I got to my room and opened the door only to be greeted with cigarette smell and mildew. The toilet had not been flushed and there was toilet paper and cigarette butts in the water. I flushed it down, set my bags down and headed downstairs to see if I could change rooms. When I got to the front desk the woman was on the phone. I was hungry so I decided to go for a bite and come back and ask for a room change. After eating I came back and there was another woman at the front. It seems there was a shift in staff. I asked the woman if there were smoking rooms in the hotel and she said that the hotel was smoke free. I told her that my room smelled like smoke and I found cigarette butts in the toilet and wanted to change rooms. She say that someone had smoked in the room and that they were full and there were no rooms available. To check the next day. I spent the night in a smelly room and when I left my clothes smelled like smoke. This is the last time I am staying at this hotel. Even though other areas in the hotel are okay.
