It was our second time at this resort as we just had to come back. The hotel itself is clean and maintained very well. The restaurants and food are superb and the team do everything they can to make your visit feel special.

This place was absolutely amazing and the grounds themselves were stunning. The staff at every junction was a 15 our T of 10. Super friendly and polite. The area off campus was horrific. Do not leave the campus. Piles of trash dumped on the roadways. Wild animals. Did not see 1 police officer. However, I would stay at this resort again and would love it.

The service was great and all staff were super friendly. Dining options were good, a little less than some other all inclusive in the area, most likely as it is a smaller than the other resorts. The resort was nice and quiet, however first timers should be aware there are dress codes for the french restaurant Chez Isabelle. Guests should bring a collared shirt and long pants.

We stayed at Excellence Hotel for 4 nights to celebrate our anniversary, and while some aspects of the trip were enjoyable, the overall experience left much to be desired. Check-In Experience: Upon arrival, the manager who checked us in mentioned that there were no available room upgrades (which we understood), but they offered a complimentary 30-minute spa massage instead. They also inquired about the reason for our trip, and after explaining it was for our anniversary, they promised us a special dinner and even asked us to list our favorite foods. This raised our expectations, but unfortunately, the follow-through was disappointing. Concierge & Spa Issues: When we went to the concierge to schedule the spa session and special dinner, there were no notes about these offers. After a frustrating back-and-forth with the front desk, concierge, and spa staff, the promised perks were reduced to a 30-minute hydrotherapy session and breakfast in bed with the standard menu. This miscommunication and overpromising left us feeling let down. Food & Drinks: The food was mediocre at best—most meals were served warm rather than hot, and the flavors were just okay. Drinks were often watered down, which wasn’t surprising but still disappointing for an all-inclusive resort. Service: Service was inconsistent. Some staff were friendly and attentive, while others seemed to ignore us completely after taking our requests. This lack of attention was disheartening, especially since we tipped.

Everyone looked so happy and everyone was very helpful. The beach area was easily accessible and we loved all the pools! They were so clean. The rooms were spacious and there were very nice amenities. We will definitely be back and will recommend Excellence to all our traveling friends!

Front lobby should be renovated, it needs an update.Very dark. Everything else was great. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. Wish they spoke a little more English though. Communication with room cleaning staff was hard with language barrier. Overall great experience. Would definitely go back to this resort. We had so much fun!

This is a true five star resort. The rooms, staff, food choices are excellent. We celebrated our 50 birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary. Hanna the guest manager and Claudia the restaurant manager were incredible. They accommodated our party of 14 people with the highest level of service. This is a resort that must be experienced and we will return soon. Thank you for all the memories that were made on this vacation.
