First of all they charge so much money for room rent, which is understandable being a resort , still want to charge you for extra towels? which is ridiculous and we travel all around the world. Never seen a resort like this. Some of it is good but most of it isn't but. My wife and my daughter , both female so they needed more than 2 towels one for body and the other one hair Not only that plus had mildew on every grout line we even took pictures for our reference and we are claiming every single penny back I'm so glad we had insurance

Food was not good at all. Take snacks! Property does not provide washcloths. Only the medium and large size towels. Pool is nice. The water slides are NOT at the property as shown on the pictures provided. NO elevators. Rooms are outdated. Outlets in the room are very limited and some do NOT work. Had to charge my phone in the restroom. Will not return.

First time in an all inclusive hotel with a 6 years old and of course you have drunk people around and music and maybe some annoying neighbors, but the security works fantastic, they are suuuper nice and they resolve “problems” very fast, they do every day 😂 7 restaurants, buffets and the beach is gorgeous! Also they have activities for kids and adults and the water park is a win!!!

I really enjoyed my stay. Room was a little smaller than I expected. Outlets were an issue, they need bedside outlets.Food and drinks 8/10. Reception & housekeeper Wendy was so helpful. Only issue was people selling stuff on the beach, it’s hard to relax when people come back to back asking you to buy something. Overall would stay again

Our favorite thing about this property was food. There were a lot of great choices at the buffet and restaurants. It was safe and quiet. Beach was beautiful. We were on first floor so it smelled a little musty and there were a lot of sugar ants but when we complained they sprayed to get rid of them. My son slept on the sofa bed which was old and squeaked loudly every time he moved but he made it. Over all we were pretty happy and would definitely come back.

The hotel is showing its age. Many services did not work as expected, but the beach was great and the fantastic weather compensated the shortcomings. The staff is not very friendly but it might be related to the working conditions.

I am finally recovering(as of 3/20/24) from my stay at the RiU Bambu Punta Cana so here is my review. From the time I checked-in to the Bambu on 2/18 to the time I left this Bambu my stay was a nightmare!! The food was barely edible; I lost 2 pounds. The room was dirty, no wash cloths or towels given at check-in. The liquor in the room was empty and the refrigerator was not stocked. My son was harassed by another visitor and the staff stood by and let things escalate. Thank god my son was calm or else things could have went terribly wrong!!!! The morning I was leaving the Bambu there was a water leak in my room when I went to use the bathroom at 5 AM, I slipped and fell. The staff was unhelpful and rude! If you like your towels rationed and you want to stay in an unsafe resort stay at the Bambu. My stay was a true nightmare: service/staff horrible, food horrible, room dingy and dangerous!!!! I will never stay at a RIU again.
