The property is clean and basic. Nothing spectacular. Inexpensive. No pool, no hot tub but waffles for breakfast. If you are looking for GF or other options, it is also lacking, but for a standard basic breakfast and sleep, you have a hotel.

A clean, reasonably priced, renovated room
Our room was reasonably priced, spacious, and clean. It did not have a sitting chair, unlike in some of the photos; it did have a desk chair. The bed was hard, but that suited us. This Super 8 has been renovated; the room was pleasantly decorated and electric outlets added. There are still reminders of its age, such as a hole punched in the bathroom door and a large chip in the top of a nightstand. The people at the front desk were kindly, and my requests when reserving the room were met without my having to ask again, unlike at some other hotels. Overall a nice, no-frills place. Thanks!

Nice stay until dealing with the dead skunk smell
I checked into the Rochester Super 8 on Friday until Tuesday and the stay was wonderful and relaxing. The only issues I dealt with was Saturday morning when I got up for breakfast my room and hallway smelled like pot. I know that it's legal to have in Minnesota but leave that stinky crap out of the hotel especially when the hotels are SMOKE FREE!!!!!

There was zero water pressure. A trickle of a shower was putting it nicely. The springs or what ever is in their mattress sounded like an oil can being squeezed every time you changed positions. The bed was not comfortable.

I stayed 2 days and the staff was very nice and accommodating to me. They provided a copy of the hospital shuttle service times. The kitchen was very clean. The only issue I would have is that the hallway carpeting needs to be updated to a more modern design, it's like something from the 60's. I was quickly checked in and out with no difficulties.

Older property. The bathroom fan stayed on with the light so was noisy for the person watching TV when bathroom was in use. Toilet tissue was thin and coarse. Bed was acceptable. Breakfast was minable. Location was ok to Mayo Clinic and St Mary's hospital. A shuttle bus did stop at facility if needed.

There was a sock on the door stop dirty sock at that. The people was completely missing piece of tissue tucked in it when I opened the door, and the molding around the door came off with a nail sticking out of it.

Our shower curtain rod was broken due to a hole in the wall, so the floor was getting wet, and when I brought a bag of garbage to the desk that needed to be tossed I was yelled at, I was only going by what there housekeeping policy was because they don’t have housekeeping unless you ask but that was all we needed, 2 days later we put out our garbage and they weren’t gonna leave us replacement bags, when I asked the housekeeper for some she ignored me, my husband had to go ask her again, when my husband checked out the desk lady barked at him that he was already checked out when he told him we were leaving a day early because our son was being discharged early
