We are a cheerleading organization who stayed at Country Inn and the experience was horrible. The check in process took over 45 mins to check in 8 rooms. The man who owns it or runs it is super rude and needs to learn how to talk to CUSTOMERS! Very demeaning when he talks to you and he shorted us a whole room. He didn’t even keep my squad together we were all over the hotel which was horrible and we were told to keep quiet when the kids were “walking and just talking” in the halls. This place smells like old people and is super hot. The owner again complained about us the whole time and his night manager (African American lady) I don’t know her name was acting like she was working for “60 Days In”. Talk about a drill Sargent. Place is NOT for kids. They act like it’s some high class hotel where u need to mind your P’s and Q’s every single moment. For the record- one of my kids lost her stuffed animals and I called the hotel to have them double check the room and they refused to even look.

I had no hot water for the 2 days i was there. The maintenance guy was an ass with no customer service exp and it shows. The maintenance guy told me that they have 3 water heaters and 1 was working. He also told me if i wanted hot water to shower in, i was to wait 10-15 minutes as if that would solve anything. I would not trust any positive stars for this property.

Was a bit of an older property but still could have had some improvements. Dining room chairs needed to be reupholstered same with the desk chair in my room. Kind of disappointing that there are pictures showing a hot tub but was covered up when I stayed. Seemed to be a time frame that we as guests could get a hot shower. I’m an earlier riser and went to take a shower at 530am it was luke warm at best for about 5 minutes. Was told housekeeping on the 3rd day unless it’s on the weekends than you’re in your own with taking your trash out to hallway trash cans which were full of other guests trash and it smelled.

The hotel in general is nice nothing fancy but decent. However do to staffing the trash in the hallways is often left uncollected and the hallways smell because of it. The staff is always pleasant!! The breakfast needs a meat option.

Run down hotel
Hotel run down, dirty hallway, my room had a dark stain on the rug, outdoor porch wood peeling. I would never stay there again nor would I recommend it. Too bad, the previous owners kept it top notch.
