I booked my stay back in April for Oct 18-20, when i got there oct 18 they told me that if i booked through a 3rd party (expedia) that my reservation was canceled due to tornado damage or something? well i was NOT notified of this. very very very disappointed with this hotel and expedia for this. Finding another hotel the night of at the last minute was near impossible. highly disappointed.

We didn't even check in, had a medical emergency with who we were traveling with and spent the night in the emergency room. The next morning we headed straight back home to Iowa. I called the hotel and asked them to cancel our reservations, to which they informed me i would still get charged for 3 nights that i had booked. I can see possible one night, but not three when it was completely out of my control !

Tornado hit the hotel
Well unfortunately our trip was cut short due to a tornado hitting the hotel and we had to evacuated. I'll give them props, they kept everyone safe where they were able. Unfortunately, my issue is getting my trip refunded to me since I didn't stay 2 nights of the trip I have already paid for. That part has been a nightmare, along with extra charges showing up on my account with out my authorization after we had left the hotel. Hopefully it will all get worked out sooner than later.
