Our stay was fine. The front desk staff was friendly. Our key card didnt work and it seemed like they had this issue with our room in the past. The staff got very flustered and ended up giving us a master key bracelet from another staff member. Our room was a little dirty - specs, spots and stains on walls and dust/debris on floor. It wasnt awful, the bed and the towels/sheets all appeared and smelled clean. The furniture was new, very modern/farm chic, and still had stickers on it from putting it together! Overall the hotel was pretty quiet, the staff friendly and the location was very convenient.

The pictures on the website are not at all what we experienced. We booked a premium double room and the pictures showed a bright nautical theme, but the room was very dark. The only thing that matched the pictures was the retro teal blue microwave and mini fridge. The room should definitely have had an extra blanket, the bed coverings were just a sheet and thin blanket, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a large water stain on the ceiling above the shower and the water pressure was not good. We did not try the free breakfast, instead we went into town. Front desk team was pleasant and checkin was quick. For a one night stay it was ok if you don’t want to pay the higher in town prices.

When I checked in they tried to give me a room with one bed where I reserved two beds. The staff also didn’t make bed with duvet or comforter only very thin blanket, I was cold and had to ask for a blanket.

This hotel was rated 8.8 on Hotels.com. I’d give it a 3 tops. Updated room but mattress not too comfortable, flimsy comforter, water pressure in shower very poor. And the heating/air unit was old and very noisy. Parking lot surrounded the whole place and no table in the room or chairs outside the doors. Virtually no continental breakfast (delivery didn’t arrive.. for the 3 days we were there they said). Just a few guests in their 220ish number of rooms yet they put everyone in the same section next door / above one another, with a baby next door to us. When we talked to management about why it was all excuses and no resolution. (There were like 20 guests in the entire place). Cleaning staff very nice.

The staff appeared to be well intended but there were a couple of “concerns “. After registration, the desk staff informed me there was a “ modified “ breakfast. They’d had a fire and needed to just have cold items temporarily. I understand the situation but I think there should have been a small refund or had it on their web page. The TV had 2 remotes and we needed written instructions to help us use it. There were none so we had to get staff to help us. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was very good.

For the most part we were satisfied with our stay. Property was very clean but the lighting in the room was somewhat dim and we ended up having to switch rooms because every time you flushed the toilet it just kept running annoyingly. The other negative we'd recommend changing is the bed coverings are thin as paper. Almost just like having a sheet only. Would suggest heavier comfort quality bedding. Breakfast was bare bones minimum. Basically coffee and mini muffins (of which only one was left when we got there well before breakfast ending time). Could work on creating a bit more variety. Staff was very pleasant and did accommodate our room change.
