Property was in a great location with a combination of proximity to important sites, good food and transport and nestled in a traditional neighborhood. Very adequately outfitted for the price. A very small suggestion would be to have information handy for the overnight crew on after-hours transportation options.

A family of 3 adults stayed 3 nights here 7-14 to 7-17-2024. If you've been to Seoul before, it's a good place to base yourself for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We've stayed in Mapo, Myeongdong, Insadong and Gangnam before this. We took the 6011 airport bus 51,000 won:17,000 won per person from Incheon Airport and with lots of luggage it was difficult to get directions to the hotel. We asked 5 people. Tip: in the humidity of July and not knowing our bearings if you can budget for it, take a taxi. The front desk called a big taxi for our return to the airport for the 3 of us for about 85,000 won and it was worth it in the rainstorm. We booked a triple room which included breakfast option for ease in the mornings. It had one closet, mini fridge and comp bottled water daily. Towels were white not dingy or worn. Granted there is no desk or chair in the room but the lighting was fine, the AC strong and bathroom clean and bright. My bed was comfy, the comforter soft and the hand soap and shower shampoo: body gel good. Toilet had a bidet. Breakfast was filling and variety provided good and healthy. If you love to shop for cutesy items or have teen girls or grandchildren you can find lots to take home in Ikseongdong across the street. We found a shortcut that took us directly to Insadong for more shops and restaurants. There is a GS25 convenience store, 7 Eleven and Paris Baguette plus seven coffee cafe steps away. Staff we dealt with spoke English well

It was convenient to walk to Insadeong shopping and Jogyesa temple and palaces. Staff was very helpful. The AC in the room was unable to cool the room with 3 of us there. They provided with a table fan which helped immensely. Also, provided an iron for the room. Rooms and bathroom small. But for us to just sleep at night and shower, this was enough. The soap and shampoo were very good with honey and smelled good. I wish I had taken a picture of the bottles to buy for my house. Overall a good experience.

Excellent location. There are literally dozens of restaurants of every type within a few minutes walk. Walk the narrow pedestrian only streets around the hotel to experience the neighborhood. So busy at night with diners and shoppers. A great experience. Within walking distance to the main cultural palaces nearby. Just a 5 minute walk to the metro. Several convenience stores near. A very convenient location for everything. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Rooms were good. Fridge, 2 water bottles daily, coffee. Bed and pillows very comfortable. There are very reasonably priced washers and dryers in the basement beside the gym. Detergent and fabric softener sheet sold at the machines for just 1,000 kwon. Breakfast was very good. A wide variety of western and korean food. Definitely recommend selecting this hotel.

The room was very tight with 3 single beds for only for two people without a sitting chair and the shower is very narrow. I was told the room has 3 beds at the time making reservation but didn't tell me about the space. Had I know it is extremely narrow room I wouldn't take it. I am now very happy to stay in a better hotel in Korea until April 10. Ibis Ambassy hotel will remain in my heart with bad memory.

The hotel is in a great location - near Ikseondong and Insadong with all of the charming shops and restaurants and within walking distance of the Bukchon Hanok village, Jogyesa Temple, and a slightly longer walk to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace. The staff was helpful and kind. The rooms are small and didn't have great temperature controls, but were otherwise clean and comfortable. I would stay there again for the great location.
