Absolutely dreadful
Dreadful stay booked two twin rooms with double beds but got singles in both !! Bed was rock hard as were the lumpy pillows. Paint peeling off walls and doors , bathroom lights were falling off and flickering on and off which seemed extremely unsafe!! Went to use the pool and gym only to be told we had to pay £15 per person . We would never of booked this hotel if that was made clear when booking as we picked this property over others because of the facilities . so all in all it was a dreadful experience and we will never stay there again . Had anyone been there in the morning when we left I would have asked for a full refund !!

Expensive premier inn with a £10 charge for a swim
I don’t normally write reviews but I checked in and was told about the leisure facilities which upon me wanting to use them found out that you had to pay £10 per visit to use the swimming pool/sauna which was made aware to me upon booking it checking in. My bed was always coming apart in the middle in the night so have to keep getting up and push the beds back together. Breakfast was expensive at £15 per day I thought.

Charges for pool now - not worth it
We have stayed here many times - very disappointed this time that there is an extra £10 per person to use the pool - this is not fair in customers as adds to the stay quite significantly, the pool is not worth the money as facilities not modern over used and poor quality. Mercure is being greedy here.
