I understand that the motel has suffered from a fire in the past year, but the location was kind of desolate and it was the end of the season and I was the only customer staying at the motel. It really felt a little bit like a set up for a slasher movie. :-) The room was clean and it overall it was acceptable, but it really is dated to the 1960's or there about. The room was also pretty small, but it had two comfortable club chairs which is a huge plus in my opinion. The highway noise was a little bothersome but not much.

Great little spot in Baraga
It's a small motor lodge and feels like a small motor lodge, but it's comfortable, has a great view, and is a worthwhile stop for weary travelers.

It was a great location and had great views of the water. My only real issue with it was the smell. It is an older place and smells like it. The owners were friendly, and the restaurant was super convenient.

Comfortable beds, friendly staff and amazing view. The property is definitely older which is a challenge in the bathroom with finicky faucets but the room had everything we needed for just two nights. We’d like to stay again during their summer season when the restaurant is open and we can enjoy more time by the water.

Great view
A small and cozy place to stay. There a was a fan for white noise if road traffic or neighbors are noisy. The view was beautiful. It's a small place, so theyre not always open, so checking out was a little odd but went great! I called Carla on the phone who seemed like a very nice person to let her know i was checking out. Thanks!

It was the dead of Winter, but we had a warm and cozy "cottage like" room. Staff was wonderful. functionality was perfect. It is nothing fancy, think "old up north cottage" but met our needs, and was an amazing value. I recommend slippers in the winter - the bathroom floors are chilly!
