Very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. However , when I booked the room, it read ocean view but when I got to the facility we were informed it was only a partial view, however that was also incorrect. Our room was on the 1st floor facing the tennis courts. Not much of an ocean view at all.

We decided to stay here because they have the best bands on the weekends and we like to dance . Our room was clean and we had a partial view of the water. The bed was comfortable. We were in a room with 2 queen beds. There was a table with 1 chair. There was a desk but no chair. The room was big enough to have more chairs since the room could sleep 4 people. Disappointing since it was hard to use our laptops sitting on the edge of the bed. The bathroom was clean but you can tell the tub was old. There were small cracks around the drain and stains that are unable to be removed from the bottom of the tub no matter how much you clean. Those are small complaints but it doesn't mean we wouldn't stay there again. We did have to walk outside to get to the main part of the hotel.

I wouldn’t stay again.
I wouldn’t stay here again. The facilities are aged and there are other much newer and nicer facilities to stay at on the island. They made us wear a wristband during our stay to show we were paying guests to be able to use the facilities, it felt odd to force this for our family. South Padre Island in general needs a face lift. It isn’t the destination I remember it being. Things are aging and little work is being done to update stuff. Many other better places in the world to visit.

The property was perfect for our needs. We were, however frustrated that it cost us 175$ vs the 75$ as listed for resort fees. This cost us100$ more than listed.

Wasn't checked in to our hotel room until 2hrs after check in time. Which would have been tolerable if front office staff and manager were friendly and accommodating - which they were neither. A suggestion would have been a free appetizer while we wait, offer a late check out, a free beverage, a small discount on room service. ANYTHING! They offered nothing until I requested a late check out and they only allowed an extra hr. Front desk may use some training in customer service.

The room that was given to us was old construction . The room smelled like old wet rug. Construction workers were working making noise. We paid for a room inside the hotel and were giving an outside room on the side of the construction. Do not stay in this hotel we do not recommend it. It’s a 2 level building the other levels are only for owners of the condos or a member for the next floors. So they lie about getting a beach view and give you the side rooms .

Arrived very tired to rest and for thanksgiving and informed no more rooms w beach view w king bed as reserved. Kept us waiting forever. Gave us an "upgraded room" unsafe w a broken bolt. One full bed. Changed it and got a room w 2 full beds! Wanted to change to a better and more expensive room but were told we could not because of Expedia as the middle man. Our vacation to rest was horrible. Never again w middle man or that horrible and old hotel. Wrote a review and the owner was to be informed and we are still waiting. Thank you for the horrible experience.
