We came back at 9 pm after dinner and found the rooms full of cockroaches. We were unable to occupy the rooms. Also, the lobby and the rooms were full of a musty moldy order.

Staff at front desk very good. Breakfast was your waffles and cereal with muffins. The room was large and spacious. Free ice and encouraged us to fill cooler too for our trip. My only hang up was sand in the bed. I understand Texas coast line but felt weird. I questioned if sheets had been changed.

We stayed in a very convenient efficiency bedroom and spent most of our time at the pools downstairs. Main pool was perfect temperature and clean. Kiddie pool was too cold & murky but my kids played anyway. Wish the hot tub was working too. Regardless, our family loved every minute of it! Missed out on the continental breakfast that ended at 9:30 but that also looked like an easy dine in option for those seeking to save a buck. Oh, there’s a very nice public park with swingset pavilion covered bball court and skatepark right next door to hotel. Overall, a fantastic pick for a family with young ones

We didn’t It even stay after getting two different rooms. Mold was everywhere , one door wouldn’t even stay shut. I have pictures to prove. I want a full refund .. tried to get ahold of Expedia right away. Of course no answer.

The staff wasn’t very knowledgeable about anything.. The 2nd building is extremely noisy people were outside yelling and drinking after 11pm (which they said they do not tolerate) we had to switch rooms 2 times due to Roaches. They were crawling out of the desk, the luggage holder, the restroom shower curtain and all over the floor. They wanted to spray raid in our room but we have asthma. The second room we received was sprayed with raid before they gave us the keys so as soon as we walked in the roaches ran over our feet when we opened the door and the stench of raid was horrible! The third room we were switched to still had roaches and by that time it was after 1am and we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. We were expected to check out at 11am and we were exhausted. I would love to post the pictures and videos I have to show as well.

The room was dirty upon arrival, the floor had sand and dirt, the sheets felt like they were not washed, the tub had sand and a lot of hair in it. Breakfast was very limited, I did like that just because check out time was at 11am they let us park in the back to use the beach access till 1pm.

Staff was friendly. But that’s about the only good thing about this experience dead lock was broken and door spring up so there could be a chance you could not fully close the door to the room. Power went out within 3 hours of us being there! You would think a multi million dollar company would have generators for back up power! Had a newborn and a 1 year old which made things even worse when the temperatures started to rise. No vending machines just Coca Cola and waters (so no drinking options) just all around poor experience for a island hotel
