Stay away from this hotel
I’ve never been to the area before but felt comfortable staying at a Wyndham because of their reputation. This place was awful. It smelt like mold, was dimly lit and was just horrible. We had a party of 6 for 2 nights and it was too difficult to change venues. One couple had to request a different room (away from our party)because the mold was intolerable. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

View of the lake and the balcony were nice. Beds were well used. Should be replaced. Included breakfast was poor and hostess seemed more interested in visiting front desk staff than cleaning up.

The hotel looked like a 1970s hotel bought by Days Inn. Found a dirty washcloth left in bathroom. Bought some cleaner in town and cleaned bathroom. Hotel is short of employees, so you will have to get your own linen and towels before 7pm as there is nobody at the desk after that time. Also, bed reading light did not work and the balcony railing seemed a little loose. The whirlpool has something floating on top with the suds so I did not go in. Not worth the almost $200 per night

The staff was very accommodating. The beach front looked a little cluttered, but nothing terrible. The buildings amenities are a little outdated & worn. Our bathroom sink cold water would only work full on or off (and the it dripped). The TV remote worked some of the time, but the worst was we didn't understand how to use it properly. We got through it, but it was aggravating. The morning breakfast was ok, but seating was always an issue (not enough indoors).Over-all, the stay was convenient (for our trip to the Island).

The grounds and pool area needed some TLC. The room was ok except the bathroom needed a tub replacement or repaired and mold cleaning. The balcony needed to be cleaned of the many piles of dead bugs. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but limited selection. The eating area was clean and convenient but needed more seating.

Dirty, a lot of goose poop…. Mini fridge had ALOT of mold in it…. Sheets weren’t very clean… and there needs to be staff at front desk at all times regardless…. I was in a situation where I locked myself out of my room, and I didn’t have a key or my phone on me, and wasn’t able to get a new key because there is no one at front desk at 5:30am…… luckily my wife was able to let me in when she noticed I was gone…. Overall experience was not good and won’t be back at this facility if we ever come back to Saint Ignace

They need to rebuild on the site, currently the avocado green bath, tile ceiling and the look of 1960 . Some dirt in bathroom looks like it has been there for a long time. Never again , Days inn needs to look at property, not a good representation of the brand.
