Lovely view
We had a cheerfully decorated fourth floor room with a lovely view of Mackinac Island. This hotel was built in the 70s or 80s, so don't expect the latest decor or fixtures. It's adequate and clean with comfortable beds. The restaurant could use updating, but there is a nice small area to sit outside by the water.

Finally, a hotel that cleans the room each day, makes the beds, takes the trash, fresh towels and clean bath! We normally stay in more luxury hotels, and they do none of this anymore. It reminded me of why I liked hotels back in the day and reminded me whybwe switched to Airbnb's and private properties. Part of vacation IS getting a little TLC and this property and staff delivered! Thank you for being an authentic staff!

Awesome hotel
We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff was so friendly and the views and grounds are amazing! The nightly bonfires on the beach were an added plus along with breathtaking sunrises! Will definitely be back!
