The bed sheet was dirty and had many hairs on it. The sheet was crumpled. It seemed very likely that the sheet was not replaced. I called the front desk. They agreed to replace them but we need to go downstairs to pick up the sheets and replaced by ourselves. But we love the breakfast, gym and pet friendly with treats for pet.

Hot water and hair dryer problems
Water not hot enough first morning. No hot water second morning - couldn't take shower. Broken hair dryer. Crazy big bug with a gazillion legs unlike anything I have ever seen before. I have stayed here before and haven't had any problems, but this was not a great 2-night stay. Bed is comfortable. Oh - also, it was missing many of the items for the in-room gym.

My stay at EVEN Hotel Norwalk CT 11-12 June 2024
I am maiting for the return of my security deposit and also the refund of th 2nd that we did not stay and cancelled. I was told that I would not be charged for the 2nd day but the pending charge on my credit card does not reflect the security depost refund not the charge refund for the 2nd day, the staff was friendly and the accommodations were fine. The shower was only luke warm. and the chair in the room had a broken arm. Neither of these things are a deal breaker. Nice place.

I stayed at this hotel maybe 4-5 years ago and it was beautiful and clean. It looks like they haven’t cleaned it since then. Sheet rock all over the hallways, looks like a construction site. Carpets are filthy, bathroom is dirty, very underwhelming considering what is used to be.

Last minute booking.
We had to book the last minute. Our reservation for a Vrbo booking had been cancelled. The customer service representative found an available room at the Even Hotel in Norwalk. Check in was quick. The room was comfortable and clean. I really appreciated the friendly staff.

My stay was good, however I did put in a request for maintenance service for the light over the desk and it never was resolved in three days.
