Where to begin. Every inches of this property was filled to the brim with friendly helpful knowledgeable and kind staff. Even in the restaurant. The only bummer was coffee is not automatically in the room but going downstairs wasn’t the end of the world and you could ask for a French press to be delivered. Peaceful Norwalk River setting and the train was charming and relatively quiet.

I thought they would have a breakfast bar. Coffee and bagels in the morning. Walked to a nearby cafe. Excellent hotel. So clean and new. Hotel restaurant for dinner was excellent as well. Enjoyed our stay.

Looks like there are renovations afoot, but there was only tepid water (at best) for a shower and I skipped a second shower because as long as I waited no real hot water showed up. Also, the constant and echo-ey gurgling of the shower drains is omnipresent. What might be an efficient plumbing solution makes for a traveler annoyance and does not go away when the bathroom door is shut.

I had one of the worst sleeps of my life (which is to say: no sleep at all) at this place, which had booked a large wedding group and after party, served them until one o’clock in the morning, and then did nothing to control the noise while many of them proceeded to stay up most of the night. The hotel itself is among the nicer in the area but poor management and service.

Wrong infos from website gave Platinum Mmber sodas
I booked 1 night for our stay but when I finished submitting my payment I went back to check the number of beds. I said I still have a week to cancel just in case. But their website gave me wrong infos. The website said there's a swimming pool. But when I asked them over the phone regarding different things and just asked them also what time the pool closed. They said they don't have a pool. I even sent 2 emails just to show the proofs of all the screenshots that I did, but the workers during that moment didn't even believe me. But when I said I showed you already all the screenshots through email, he double-checked the emails and saw the pictures that I sent. He stopped and said, oh. Yeah, you are right, but the mere fact that he already argued with the client and give not the benefit of the doubt. That's a big no no for arguing especially you already saw the proofs. He never apologized to me and that is a very poor customer service. The manager during the time that we arrived Just gave us snacks like oreo or Doritos, and sodas for that kind of false informations. I didnt need those things but just want to get over it. Those wrong infos, the clients don't deserve chips and sodas only. You shouldn't charge us.. it is the Principle!!! The only reason why I made the reservation for that night. It's just because for my little boy. So we can just enjoy the pool. That's a very poor customer service indeed! Never gonna go back there again.
