The hotel was nice but would of liked more restaurant choices. Was disappointed that hot tub was not working and the pool was cold. Was not told at Check-in that our room would not be serviced so had to call for towels. That was a speedy delivery. Overall it was a nice stay. Bed was comfortable and really liked that we had 2 bathrooms.

Despite the high ratings and price, this hotel was quite underwhelming. Starting from the driveway to the entrance (which circles around the back) to the room amenities, this hotel had a run-down feeling overall. Self parking is $20 a night and valet parking is $25 a night. Going in and out of the parking lot is a hassle because the magnetic card does not work at times. The shower had low water pressure. The toilet paper was cheap and bad quality. The TV was small and dark (could not adjust brightness). Room had no microwave. The hotel was interior was too cold. Other guests complained that the pool was too cold. Having said all this, I have not been to the other hotels/casinos in South Lake Tahoe. So cannot compare.

the room showed a lot of wear there was a washcloth left under the sink of one of the bathrooms checking in was really backed up we checked out early and was charged an extra day for the resort and parking fees 35 minutes on the phone to resolve that

We have stayed at Harrahs a couple of times over the last decade and May return again. The location is terrific to walk around the state line area. I still like the place but at the very least the rooms need updating. Many of the fixtures are tarnished and much of the the furniture was chipped and scarred.
