The two air conditioners in the room were not adequate to cool the area, we called the front desk and they sent a technician to replace one of the units. There were no window shades in the bathroom and needed to be covered with our clothes. The WiFi was weak and couldnā€™t be used in our room, we had to go to the lobby to use it. Breakfast was not good, precooked eggs, tasteless watermelon was the only fruit, really bad coffee and no tea selection. The second morning had a better breakfast (chicken adobo was good, bananas were the fruit selection and better coffee).

Me and my companions were expecting that the our room at La Carmela would have a hotel type of amenities. We were assigned to a top floor and and end of the bldg, and so much is lacking in the room, was it because I availed a promo rate thru Expedia? The hotel service, you have to wait for another 24 hrs to get your requested items. Thankful to the front desk who assisted us, she was very accommodating.

We stayed for 6 days and they only changed the sheets ONCE even though we asked several times. Breakfast menu for the whole stay was the SAME. Intercomm is NOT working Room Aircon is DEFECTIVE Towels & Linens smells MURIATIC ACID TV remote is missing. When we asked for one, they gave one but it also is NOT working

AC wasnā€™t working, maintenance supposed to come and fix it, but never came. We had to open and use the fridge to get some cold air out! We requested to change beddings and they never came! Terrible room! Itā€™s dirty my mom got sick it was so humid. Would never stay at this hotel ever!
