The property is very well maintained and clean and the staff is cordial and attentive. Lots of things to do inside the resort! Main downside is the noise coming from other rooms, we could easily hear the tv from behind the wall. Also, there is not a general store inside the property in case you forget something.

Nice Hotel, Not So Nice Fees
Room and hotel staff were good, proximity to noisy road and construction were not relaxing. Surprised by the lack of free parking, either valet for $35 a day or pay $48/24hrs in the Stowe lot. Hotel is classified at pet friendly, but they charge $100/night for a fee. I'm pretty sure our dogs make less of a mess than most children or adults do. Didn't recall seeing those fees listed when booking. They did divulge the infamous "Resort Fee" at booking, still a pet peeve.

My husband and I stayed at Spruce Peak for what we thought was going to be a relaxing baby moon. Our room was not ready to be checked in to until after the 4 p.m. check in time. When we finally got into the room we opened the door to find it had two queen beds when we booked a king. We were finally placed in a king room over what we believe was the parking garage. We were woken up several mornings by loud banging and other types of construction noises. This was around 7 a.m. We were not once asked how our stay was by any employee. Overall, the hotel is beautiful but the relaxing part for us was definitely missing, a disappointment for sure.

Facility was spotless and everyone was friendly but everything on the resort is very expensive and, seeing as we stayed M-Th a lot of benefits to being on the resort were closed which was a bummer.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. A wedding took over several areas which was a bummer. Never got a chance to enjoy the whistle pig pavilion. Car was brought back to us filthy so may want to ask where they plan to park your car overnight.

I love this property, the rooms, the service, and their facilities. I come every year and enjoy it. What I don’t like about this property is how they have added charges for everything. We already pay a high room rate and resort fee and still there are charges for all resort activities. They even shut down their facilities like the main lawn for activities like concerts and other events, and prevent access for guests unless they pay $40 per person. In my opinion it’s excessive. And annoying.

There is so much to do around the property, never having to leave, great for kids and teens and everything is extremely well maintained! We all felt very safe. Staff was so friendly and helpful as well.

It’s was an absolutely GORGEOUS facility. Lots of waking with long hallways but worth it!!! Wish they would have coffee in the lobby. . . But if that’s the worst thing, I’ll take it!!!! Definitely going back.
