We have stayed here twice now with just a few months between stays. The difference was very apparent. The first time was great and what you would expect. This visit was not the same. Our room was not very clean. The bathroom floor was extremely gross and the shower had mold in it. The pool room was awful and extremely hot with chlorine smell so strong that sitting in there with my kids did not feel safe. We stayed here while we were visiting for a softball tournament. Numerous of the girls ended up with the same rash after swimming. There were never any towels and when we asked they had 2 left and that was it. They let a group that was meeting up for some sort of YouTuber channel group drink and play corn hole until 2am. The kids running the hotel were very pleasant. I’m not sure they were doing all that they should but it’s clean the hotel owner/manager is not around or paying attention to the status of the hotel.

My last few stays have been disappointing. There was black mold in the grout on the tub (room 208), when I was running the water in the tub, the shower head was leaking, the water pressure is not very good, the remote was missing from the blinds in the room, and the inner shade was broken and would not go up or down. This issue has been ongoing every time I stay in that room. The bathroom door is very hard to pull closed and has issues. It seems every time I stay there, the hotel is going downhill and they do not keep the place up very well. The bed looked like it hadn't been changed, as there were crumbs under the bedding in the bed. On the good side, I did notice a change in staff since I was there last, and they were much better and nicer. The breakfast choices were good as well.

Our room wasn’t clean. There was a fun-yon on the floor as well as crumbs all over the room. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. It was clear that housekeeping did not clean the floors at all. There were boogers on the bathroom walls. There was food all over the remote. We tried to alert the front desk, but the lady at the desk was taking phone calls in her car parked under the pull up area out front. She was never at the desk when we came down. Even when we came to check in we had to wait for the desk attendant. I could never get comfortable the whole stay, and after a day on the road it should have been very restful. I had planned to stop again on our way back through, but other arrangements were made based on this stay. The only good thing about our visit was breakfast.
