Check-in was smooth. Staff friendly. Room cute and appeared to be clean. There is some sort of club next to Truā€” at midnight the parking lot party started and went on for hours The front desk staff was rude when we asked if they could do something. I reminded her that as a property next door they could ask local law enforcement to intervene since it was after midnight. Next morningā€¦I encountered a german cockroach in my bathroom. Where there is one bold enough to stroll around in bright lights, there is always an infestation behind the walls. I wasnā€™t risking it with breakfast buffet.

I came here for a work trip. The room was very small, the bed was horrible! The worst hotel bed Iā€™ve ever slept on. I guess all TRU hotels only have platform beds therefore it was like I was sleeping on a board. I got minimal sleep while there due to that and was not prepared for my work trip because of lack of sleep. Running to my chiropractor as soon as they open once Iā€™m home. Breakfast was great, lobby was a blast. The customer service was great. Rated it so low because the entire point of this hotel was to sleep while on a work trip and that didnā€™t happen.

While Hilton properties are generally good, itā€™s the staff that made this stay awesome. Customer service was #1. After booking my stay for two night. I had to extend my stay a couple of times due to unplanned events. The staff not only extended my reservation each time I requested, they also gave me an additional discount.
