The staff members were extremely professional. The lobby is gorgeous. My room needed a refresh --peeling wallpaper in multiple spots in the bedroom and bathroom.

There was a tub of old pasta in the fridge and the staff refused to give me a new room until when they solicited me over text to get me to eat at the restaurant i complained and they then had to give me another room which was only slightly better. Its old and dirty and should only be a bar and a historical monument not a hotel anymore. Do not stay here.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful foyer. Very convenient if you are planning visiting Museum of Art Institute. Dining options are great. Stayed at this hotel before and would stay again.

very nice hotel. however, we had issues with our toilet in the hotel. weak flush and sometimes the water would keep running, making sound. loved their gymy - very nice. pelotons and all sorts of equipment. open 24 hours.

Other than the Palmer being a historic hotel, it was an average hotel. It that there were not enough staff. Long lines to check in and we had to call housekeeping to request for room to be made. We left room at 11:45 and on return at 3:00 pm, room was still unmade. Also room furnishings and bathroom fixtures were looking very worn (cracks, scratches, stains in marble).

Beautiful historic hotel. Gorgeous big lobby to grab a coffee or drink, and just sit and relax in while surrounded by beauty. The rooms are showing wear, and I had to be changed due to outlets not working. It took the front desk 15 min just to answer my call, and over an hour to get issue resolved. (It was at 10pm at night so this was inconvenient and tiring) No coffee makers in room. Beautiful hotel and clean, with a lot of interesting spaces and history.
