Good hotel with excellent barman was very helpful and friendly as was the reception. Room was a little dated but comfortable and spacious.

The grounds were very clean as was our room. The staff were friendly and hospitable. Room 206, the fridge did not work along with the A/C and light at the tea station. It would have been gandy to have a towel rail (to dry towels). Soft furnushing (chair and stool) had stains which should have been cleaned.

It's a clean smart hotel with good outdoor areas. The gym was a bit lacking in kettle bells and other accessories. It had the usual range of running and rowing equipment. The bar dining menu was reasonably priced and the food came well presented . We had a room with a balcony. Whilst it was quite narrow it was nice to be able to sit on it and have the door open to get some fresh air into the room Breakfast was a good meal very friendly front of house staff and tasty well cooked options from a full English to fish meats cheese and cereal alternatives.

We had a lovely overnight stay. Room was comfortable, the pool was lovely and breakfast is always great. Staff are very friendly, especially the lady checking us in to breakfast this morning. She had it all under control, very organised.
