The staff were friendly. Nothing was out of order during our stay. The hotel was quiet. Our room had a number of maintenance issues including a noisy ac unit which was noisy all night and did not cool to its set temperature. The shower head dripped all night long after using it. The refrigerator had a clicking noise every so often. We came to evacuate from a hurricane and this was one of the only options available. Not the best stay but not the worst. Seems this is an older place with some TLC needed.

The property is very close to downtown Stuart with great dining options and shopping! The overall appearance is acceptable . Our king suite had a musty old smell upon entering. The bed felt old and squishy which shocked me as Hampton in. Usually has awesome beds. When I spoke to the desk person in the am about how uncomfortable the bed was he said all the beds were new! I was shocked. The AC unit was under the window and did not seem to work properly. The room felt damp and musty. The room appeared to be in desperate need of a remodel to be up to expectations of a Hampton Inn.

We arrived very late due to a delayed flight. I called to let them know in advance and they said it wasn’t a problem. When we arrived we had to wait at the locked door for over 10 minutes for someone to let us in. The check in staff was not friendly. Room was fine, though very muggy due to humidity in general. Elevator inspection was overdue!

I can’t say enough about the people that work there from the desk to the dining area. Everybody made me feel so welcomed, and I was there for visiting a family member who is very sick. They were so compassionate. I can’t say enough about this hotel. It’s just what I needed.

Everyone we dealt with was very nice, professional but my experience was much different than all other stays with Hampton. We had to go to the desk to ask for everything we needed; towels, toilet paper, garbage bags. We had to leave trash and dirty wet towels outside the door to be picked up. This was very strange to me. Never had that happen at any hotel I’ve stayed. Housekeeping never came in to refresh. We were there 5 nights. The breakfast was not as good as it has been at other Hampton Inns. Linens on the beds were less than standard I feel. They were very worn and not the fresh crisp ones I remember at other Hamptons. Again the complaints are circumstantial to environment but when I did have face to face dealings with the staff, they all were nice and professional.
