From the time we arrived to the minute we left, the staff were amazing!!! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The home is elegant and welcoming. We only had one thing that bothered us but wasnā€™t worth scoring lower for, the bed. The squeak at ever movement caused us to wake each other if we had to roll over. The grounds are beautiful and the location is perfect.

The property was very well kept and nice swimming pool area. We were greeted at arrival and the staff even insisted on helping with luggage. We stayed in the Duff Green room which worked out amazing for a larger family. Canā€™t wait until our next trip.

Amazing property, super friendly staff, great communication before & during stay. Great location for exploring historical district & downtown by foot. Lovely swimming pool for cooling down. Very friendly staff. The tour guide was amazing. Parking is free but you need to navigate carefully. The rooms can't be cooled below 72 or they leak per the signs in the room. Beware it isn't the properties fault but palmetto bugs do get into the room. We found a couple larger spiders in the bed too. One of the sitting chairs had some type of small reddish bugs under it and I couldn't tell what they were. Overall I'd say the directions could be clearer for where you need to go. We were told the kitchen could make us an earlier breakfast on the day we were departing, however we couldn't get into the mansion. We did stay in the hideaway room so maybe it's different in the mansion.

Such a beautiful mansion with fascinating history. The staff were all extremely friendly and went above and beyond in their service. It was lovely to sit in one of the rockers on the front porch in the evening and read. The breakfast was delicious and the table was beautifully set. The tour after breakfast is definitely worth it so don't skip it. It was full of interesting information and history. I'd stay again, with pleasure.
